Who's career has been more impressive, GSP's or Anderson Silva's?

Lets be honest, this was debateable before AS popped for steroids and GSP won the MW title. How this debate is still going is beyond me.

I think fans often confuse more excitinf fighter with being the best fighter. Mma fighters have the dumbest fan base.

You realize that Bisping had a better career, and it's not even close, than Forrest.

Both are journeyman fighters in the UFC. No one will ever try to claim that they were the best in their weight classes. Well, no one with half a brain anyway. But GSPs win over Bisping is every bit as impressive as Andersons win over Forrest.

And if you want to talk about belts being just belts, and it's who you beat, GSP beating Hughes 2x to win the WW belt is far superior to Andersons wins over Rich, and that's not even close. On top of that, remind me who Anderson beat to win a 2nd UFC belt..........

Anderson was way past his prime when he fought Bisping. GSP, while coming off of a long absence in MMA, was much closer to being in his prime. Forrest beat prime Rampage.

GSP handpicked an opponent not of his career division, one he knew that he matched up very well against (via past training efforts), and immediately tossed the title after his win.

I’m certain that I’m not the only fan with the opinion that the MW title/2-div title holder status is a bit hard to credit GSP. Some of us fans do give value to champions earning a title defense to secure true status.

So because GSP handled Bisping in sparring in 2006, he’s supposed to be an easy fight for him on a four-year layoff in 2017? You do know the majority of people on here picked Bisping to win, right? Also, news flash: GSP matches up well against everybody. That’s why he’s beaten everybody he’s ever fought. Bisping was actually one of his toughest matchups on paper, if not the toughest.

Let’s see, experienced vet who stands 6-2, walks around at 210 lbs., is one of the most technical strikers in the division, has well-rounded grappling, incredible cardio and only gets stronger as the fight goes on. And JUST as he’s starting to take over the fight and turning GSP’s face into a crimson mask, St. Pierre floors him and puts him to sleep. If you’re not impressed by that, you might be watching the wrong sport.

Beating prime Rampage > Fluke KO over Rockhold. Bisping beat Anderson when he was old.

Forrest griffin is not a notch above Bisping. Theres also no such thing as a fluke KO. He threw a strike and it landed . Im not even a big bisping fan either

I guess you're right that there was no debate to begin with since it was about Silva being a CHEATER, that is already a fact.
Since you can't stick to the facts, you start looking for grammar errors instead...lol!
Also, I speak 3 languages and english was not my first, I think I do ok there and don't need your approval

When did he cheat? It's been proven neither instances were intentional PED use. Cheating is greasing your back to prevent your opponent from using grappling techniques. What about running away from the testing era altogether?

GSP is way past his prime. Was retired for 5 years and has had 2 ACL injuries.

Anderson would have been in better condition than what GSP was.

Difference is GSP won and Anderson lost

Early thirties with reconstructed ACLs is easier then being in your 40s.

But what would you know? All you've had is carpal tunnel from trolling....

Lmao fluke ko's are real. If I fought Luke Rockhold in a street fight and knocked him out, it would be a fluke. Rockhold would KO me 999/1000.
