Who won Holland vs Meerschaert

Why does sherdog give props for split decisions even in a fight that was booed for 90% of it lol. It was just a bad fight. Stop giving props for that. And he was completely outclassed by Hermansson lol
Because a split can go either way. Jan has viciously knocked out most of his recent opponents. The fact that you're trying to discredit a guy who won 5 times in less than a year is just asinine.

Im providing context of who he beat

Khamzat is no hype and he would give Holland huge problems at least(imho destroy Holland lol), despite not being a true MW.

Khamzat is a mountain warrior and you will soon see what I mean.

No one said was easy, but use some critical thinking. 2 of those oppenents were making UFC debuts, another opponent was 1-1 in the UFC and he could have easily lost that Stewart fight on the judges score cards. Now his cherry on top is finishing a completely shot Souza? Good year sure, calling him top 10 is laughable

gtfo Jacare is light years ahead of anyone Chimaev beat.

but i feel that this is the match up to make and what the fans want to see but UFC knows they got two potential stars here (Holland and Chimaev) so they won't match them up right now. Chimaev will keep crushing cans and Kevin will keep beating contenders..

If Holland is so much superior to Khamzat then how come Khamzat has a restaurant and Holland doesnt?

Over 1 billion smeshed already too

That fight was utter dogshit. I'm trying to forget I ever watched that fight let's not mention it anymore lol

I think Khamzat is actually a bad match up for Kevin. Taken down and possibly dominated....
yes, i exaggerated a little bit but still in Holland's last fight we saw that he can roll even with a BJJ master.
I believe that even on the ground he will have a good chance against Chimaev. I would love that fight to take place.

He's not though lol. Its funny how he should have lost a decision to both Stewart and Gerald, the Neal finish was pre-UFC, Souza is 41 and looked beyond shot lol. Has Holland even fought a top 10 guy? Let alone beat a top 10 guy? Lmao the hype is hilarious

What hype are you even talking about? No one said hes a future champion or a top 5 mw. Basically youre mad people are talking about a guy whos fought 5 times in 7 months and had a bunch of impressive performances over that span.

Brunson, Vettori and Hermansson are all top 7 mws. Holland can compete with those guys.

Youre just a hater plain and simple.

He just kod Jacare, finished Geoff Neal and gave Thiago Santos a run for his money in a short notice debut, brutally kod Joaquin Buckley and beat Darren Stewart as well. Not sure why you think his hype is hilarious cause hes a legit top 1p fighter.
he lost to stewart ...

It's all good, I exaggerate myself on occasion I love Kevin Holland btw, he is a game fighter, he finds ways to win. Grappling is more than just BJJ, he has a few issues with takedown defense, and could lose the control battle and wrestling most likely will be a problem. Can he beat Chimaev? Of course, I was simply extrapolating a potential match up, it's all conjecture at this point.

I just watched that fight. It was exciting grappling exchanges. With Holland clearly doing the most damage each round.
Very close fight but I had it 30-27. For Holland.

1. Jacare hasnt won a fight in 2 years and is 41 years old
2. Geoff Neal is a WW and that fight was nearly 4 years ago
3. Thiago beat his ass quite handily. One 10-8 round was scored for Thiago. Kevin was begging Thiago to stop hitting him so hard.
4. Joaquin has beat nobody of significance and had a 3-2 Bellator record prior to coming to UFC
5. That Stewart fight was pretty 50/50. Many people gave Stewart rds 2 and 3.

I think itll be hilarious if he gets thrown to the wolves in his next fight and gets embarrassed. Just how good is Brendan Allen?
