Who won Holland vs Meerschaert

I thought GM3 won but Holland has improved drastically

He just kod Jacare, finished Geoff Neal and gave Thiago Santos a run for his money in a short notice debut, brutally kod Joaquin Buckley and beat Darren Stewart as well. Not sure why you think his hype is hilarious cause hes a legit top 1p fighter.
He's not though lol. Its funny how he should have lost a decision to both Stewart and Gerald, the Neal finish was pre-UFC, Souza is 41 and looked beyond shot lol. Has Holland even fought a top 10 guy? Let alone beat a top 10 guy? Lmao the hype is hilarious

Yeah because winning 5 fights in a year is easy!

No one said was easy, but use some critical thinking. 2 of those oppenents were making UFC debuts, another opponent was 1-1 in the UFC and he could have easily lost that Stewart fight on the judges score cards. Now his cherry on top is finishing a completely shot Souza? Good year sure, calling him top 10 is laughable

no finish so they both lost. #EndPointFighting

During the post fight interview, Holland says Khamzat has fought nobodies except for Gerald so it made me interested to see how the Holland vs Gerald fight went. Media scorecards were 14-3 in Gerald's favor, who really won that fight?

man. Watch the fight. Don’t let other people tell you who they thought won.

I remember nothing from the fight. So I won’t contribute to your opinion on something you’ve never seen but could easily watch it.

Just noticed TS's Avatar lmao

You can fuck off too Troll.

Holland>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Chimaev

If Holland is so much superior to Khamzat then how come Khamzat has a restaurant and Holland doesnt?

Over 1 billion smeshed already too

That means you must think the Khamzat hype is even more hilarious since Holland has done more. 5 fights in 1 year with 4 finishes, coming off a first round KO of Jacare, a fighter that went to a split decision with the current LHW Champion.
The Jan-Souza fight was a hug fest. Nothing about that fight showed that Souza had anything left. You can try and make it fit your narrative that Souza isn't shot though lol. And yes Khamzat hype is very funny as well

It was boring, but it doesn't change the fact that Jan was unable to do anything significant. In fact that's the only crappy performances from Jan we've had recently, every other performance has been a KO finish within 2 rounds. Regardless of what you think of Jacare, 5 fights UFC fights in one year is an incredible feat especially considering 4 of them were finishes.

Yeah 3 of them against rookies essentially and one a very bad decision. He's not a top 10 fighter

Wow, almost nobody on the first page actually stayed on topic and answered the OP. I was in Philly and watched this fight live. I had Holland in my parlay because of how he'd performed on short notice against Santos.

I thought for sure my parlay was fucked when that fight ended, couldn't believe he got the decision.

But Branch losing to Hermanson went and ruined my parlay anyway haha.

The Jacare win makes him a top 10 fighter. Before Jacare left for 205 he was ranked. Considering that he fought to a split with Jan that still makes Jacare a top name in the sport.

He wasn't ranked at 185 though and had just lost twice in a row before this fight lol

Split decision with the champion above your weight class isn't that bad of a loss, neither is a loss to Hermansson who is #5. I said before he left for 205. Before he left for his 205 fight he was a ranked MW. As a ranked MW he fought to a split with Jan thus proving he's still a top name in the sport.

Why does sherdog give props for split decisions even in a fight that was booed for 90% of it lol. It was just a bad fight. Stop giving props for that. And he was completely outclassed by Hermansson lol
