Petr beats everyone and never lost a clean fight. Merab he had a hand injury acoring to him. Noone else beat him clean. Ever. Especially not Aldo he got wrecked for 7 out of the 10 rounds they fought and 1 round was a draw he only won 2 rounds but walked away with a 2:0. Sean also lost, some media even scored round 3 for Petr. Let´s give 3 to Sean, 2 was a total beatdown by Petr, 1 was Peters round too. Golden Chick Sean got title shot prompted. And he didn´t even make them the money they thought he was gonna. He is Paddy before Paddy. Just that he actually is a elite fighter which Paddy still needs to showcase if he is. I mean ok elite but in a UFC top 5 title hunting sense. Paddy is elite compared to global fighters. But we´re talking about championships.

So yeah Umar vs Petr I pick Peter to win clearly. But I don´t think Umar gets that fight now. Petr already wanted to fight him and he turned it down, I don´t remember why, maybe it was Ramadan.

I think Merab gets a rematch, if Sean wins his next fight an Petr wins again, I think that is a Petr vs Sean rematch. So Umar gotta wait a long time eventually, but things happen fast. Merab might not recover soon and Usman could even get the next shot. Isn´t he fighting Figuedo next btw.

I agree, that’s an interesting matchup that I’d like to see over O’Mally vs Yan.

Petr ain’t no slouch. I think he’d be respectful towards Umar because their team moves like the marines lol

But I also think he’d be mean and tactical inside the cage and I’d like to see how Umar reacts to that.

This, both throw effective kicks but Yans seem more vengeful, more mean spirited. Umar might fair better than Merab did but for PY I think the formula more or less stays the same.
Shut down the grappling, and do damage early and often in-between Umars attempts.

Rooting for Yan, hard not to be stoked for the guy and the performance he had after the horrible skid he was on there for 2 years straight.

Yup I have Umar winning the first 2 rounds the way he did against Merab but gets mogged and possibly finished once he gasses out at round 3 the same shit happened in his last fight against Bautista and was Lucky it was 3 rounds. I have also noticed in Destani videos that Umer often tries to skirt and go lax in training and distracting himself with other shit like reading novels and books, and it shows in his fights he is not have the submission grappler Islam or Khabib are and has bad cardio.
