Stipe's fought 7 top 5 fights in the last 4 years, and is going for his 8th in a couple of months (if you include Cormier who's #1 at LHW), which is more than Fedor fought in his entire 18 year career so that's a pretty weird stance to take.
UFC HW champ Stipe Miocic starring no country for old men or breaking record of THREE TITLE DEFENSES.
And yes dont forget "top ranked in UFC but not worldwide". Especially when UFC uses fighters in rankings who they bought 10 years ago (with Pride and SF).
Fedor is goat and we (mma fans) are STILL waiting for next mma messiah

And Fedor has almost as many top 10 wins (18) as Stipe even has fights.

Yeah. TS is right. That is Fedor's qualtiy.
He outstruck the strikers. And outgrappled the grapplers.
Good point, TS.

Analysis correct - voted Arlovski though

Difference with Nog and Arlovski is that Nog was insanely durable, but I feel that AA had more wrestling in the overall skillset

In any case, Fedor fought and beat elite fighters at their strengths. In the case of Nog and Cro Cop, demonstrated in their fights, you could hypothetically create a fighter with the combined abilities of Nog and CroCop and Fedor would have still beaten that fighter wherever the fight went.

That in itself is pretty insane.

Out of those choices I picked Alovski, but I was going to vote for Heath Herring when I opened the thread.

Well I agree that Prime Werdum is better than Prime Nog, but Nog did beat Werdum in the 2nd round of the Pride 2006 Open weight GP.

werdum (best version 2013-2015) didnt look good against a 120 year old grandpa "one eye" nog.
<GSPWoah>

WOW Fedor nutthugers are all high on delusion.

It is Werdum!!! Werdum is superior clinch and striker and grappler to Nog. Nog had shit takedowns, shit athleticism, shit striking, no POWER in clinch or KO, dude was a elite grappler and had to drag people down, pull guard or use his face as a heavy bag to tire opponent down.

Heath Herring was very well rounded fighter with good wrestling, knowledge of submissions, size and physical attributes and he improved his wrestling base with muay thai training at Golden Glory in Holland under coach Cor Hemmers where he added solid hands and excellent knees and kicks.

At the turn of the century, Herring was in fact seen as Coleman`s successor, and new number 1.
A new breed of modern fighter of next generation who is good everywhere. He managed to beat Kerr, Vovchanchyn, and Erikson who were top fighters at the end of the 90s and the turn of the millenium.

But then Nogueira, Fedor and Cro Cop emerged out of nowhere and overtook him.
Still, Herring was top 3-5 fighter in the world during fights with those guys, and Top 10 ranked fighter for 6-7 years.

well it is true.

Fedor huggers are voting Nog only becuase Fedor beat him 2x. But look at Werdum grappling accomplishments in mma and outside and his striking credentials and he is a superior well round fighter but he beat Fedor so fedor fans wont admit. I am fedor fan by way but not a hugger
