If they change ethnicity this definitely seems to make sense but I'm guessing the character would be in the MCU if we get another relaunch and he already has a role there.

Honestly my feeling would be if Marvel add some or all of the X-men to the MCU it would make sense to focus in on other characters besides Wolverine.
