Who should Play Wolverine next?

Everyone talking about wolverine, but if it were up to me he’d be nothing but the side character that he is. Mega mistake if they make him “team captain” again. The outcast personality is what makes the character.
I agree .they need to take notes from the 90's cartoon

When wolvie was first announced I always thought Clint Eastwood could play the part well. Jackman could play Eastwood in a biopic, that's how good I think he is. But Jackman was constricted to the pg-13 rating until Logan, where he shone.

I just don't see anyone ATM doing it better. Scott Caan or otherwise

isn't wolverine 5'2 in the comics. he has to be short

Kit Harington
He's short, in decent shape and Game of Thrones is coming to an end.

has he ever shown rage or even anger in GOT. I honestly cant remember. Wolverine is animal rage hidden behind a human persona.

I want to see a newish actor, not someone established. Lets not forget Jackson hadn't done anything before he did X-Men.

Kit is decent in GOT but he seems too repressed and one dimensional and I really dont see him as Wolvie at all. Like you say he seems lacking in the animalistic nature which is essential for the role.

As far as Hardy is concerned, he's a fucking mumbling can and I'm glad he's tied into Venom now so hopefully he won't be playing Wolverine or any other characters I actually care for.

I agree Hardy's best role to me is as the gay cockney handsome bob in rocknrolla. As an action hero/villain he is far less convincing.

Hardy's a short pretty boy with a soft tenor of a voice. Let's make him tall, ruggedly handsome baritone Mad max. Bane as well.
Don't worry, if he speaks at the bottom of his vocal register he'll totally sound deep enough to pull it off. Won't sound whispered and mumbled at all...

I can see MCU being accurate with wolvie being

- short
- side character

And fans will be mad af lol. But they gotta realize its a new character in the MCU. Not everyone connected to hugh right away.

Spot on my man. I liked him in RocknRolla, he was alright in Inception and come to think of it he did a good job in Bronson too but I fucking hated him as Mad Max, Tommy Conlon in Warrior, Bane in TDKR and most of the other try hard tough guy roles he's been cast as. In fairness he's not such a bad actor, pretty decent actually if only he would get away from these typecast gruff mumbling hard men parts.
