Who should Mackenzie Dern fight next?

ive got two thoughts on this subject.

1. if the UFC wants to skyrocket her to title contention at 115, a fight against Karolina is the easiest way. KK doesn’t hit hard, has weak wrestling, and got subbed in minutes by Clowjda. Very winnable fight for Dern, and would put her into title contention fast.

2. Go the PVZ route and build her up slow with a fight against someone like Albu, who is a good looking girl and would be an easily marketable fight on a fight night card or at the start of a ppv. She and Albu are both 2-0 in the ufc as well.

The UFC preformance centre really helped Francis with his cardio, i'm sure they will help Dern with her weight cuts

That, and she has to fight the cropping tool on her mobile phone. Stop cropping out your arms Mackenzie. Be a little bit confident in yourself. You don't always have to hide your arms, or crop them out, while standing diagonally to appear slimmer.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but be a bit more like Ronda. She was proud of her body, saying she didn't look like a model but every muscle on her body served a purpose. That was cool.

Mackenzie, however, seems to live in constant shame of her body... the only time she stands straight in the middle of the frame and looks at the cameras, is at the weigh-ins. It is sad to see

TS is out of his mind. Dern just beat a fighter who is 3-4 and was a full weight class smaller, and suddenly KK is a "winnable" fight for Dern? Less than 5 months ago, Dern won a split decision against Ashley Yoder (who's 0-3 in the UFC), yet she's now ready for a top 5 fighter?

Dern should probably worry a bit more about her apparent eating problem and work her way up the ladder like everyone else.

Dern is a natural strawweight and makes 115 easily with a modicum of discipline.

I can see the logic of giving her a poor wrestler like KK, but is there any need. She's supposed to have the best ground game in the division so why keep her away from ground specialists. Indeed a toughie like Karolina might be a bad matchup if she can keep it on the feet and Dern hasn't shown much talent for takedowns.

I agree with bringing her on quickly - may as well make hay before she gets bored with training and hits the beach and barbecues again. You could give her a small girl like Waterson but I'd go with Calvillo.
