Since Stephens-Barao is basically an exhibition match, Stephens could climb up and fight Mendes if he beats Barao.
Then if he beats Mendes he cracks the top 5 contenders and he's in big money territory.

That ship has sailed unfortunately. It was always the right class for him but practically his whole team fought there. Now with the IV ban it's a bad idea.

Chad needs a year on the sidelines. He should head to Mayweather boxing club or Freddie Roach and work on his boxing defence. Diversify his game a little bit. His wrestling is great but he needs improved boxing skills to take the top contenders out.

He needs to improve his skills and arsenal maybe a full camp with the king of body knees Alistair Overeem will help him to improve his predictable striking
