“Let me tell you what we did at Quntico. We reconstructed the whole thing, the angle, the range, the moving target, the time limit, the obstacles, everything. I don’t know how many times we tried it, but we couldn’t duplicate what the Warren Commission said Oswald did.”

–Marine Corp Sniper Carlos Hathcock –quoted in Craig Roberts, Kill Zone, p 89-90.

Pretty sure Hillary Clinton had something to do with it.
Nah, Joe Biden and the evidence is hidden on Hunter Bidens laptop but people are too focused on the crack orgies to see

11.22.63 is my favourite King novel and maybe my favourite fictional book ever

That, if you have a good rifle that is 'zeroed' and your scope is fitted properly. Not the case with the Oswald rifle. Plus, Oswald was shooting at a moving target.

"The rifle couldn't be perfectly sighted using the scope without installing two metal shims (small metal plates), which were not present when the rifle arrived for testing, and were never found."

Did you ever shoot someone in the head from behind and their head moved backwards? The physics of that is impossible.

"Nelson Delgado, a Marine in the same unit as Oswald, used to laugh at Oswald's shooting prowess and testified that Oswald often got 'Maggie's drawers;' meaning a red flag that is waved from the rifle pits to indicate a complete miss of the target during qualification firing. He also said that Oswald did not seem to care if he missed or not."

I believe Oswald was part of a 3 men shooting team. Kennedy's head shot was made from the Grassy Knoll behind the wood fence (from the front). A lot of 'holes' in the Warren Commission report. A lot of 'holes' in Kennedy's autopsy.

The rifle was more than adequate. Even if he was shooting a 2MOA rifle, it's nearly impossible to miss a scoped sub 100 yard shot on a known path. Any real sniper would call that a layup.

Second, you really don't want to debate physics with me, but we can if you'd like. The president's head went "back and to the left" because that was the equal and opposite reaction from a bullet exiting the front of his skull. How do you think rockets work in space? Matter exits one side causes an opposite reaction the opposite side. This isn't the movies buddy.

Again, this was recreated and the results from a shot to the head from the depository window resulted in a ballistic dummy having the exact same wound.

I always laugh at that idea. Carlos Hathcock, the greatest sniper of all time allegedly, and he can't make a sub 100 yard shot against a man sized target from rest?

Maybe Carlos isn't good enough to learn how to manipulate the weapon in that time dedicated to testing the shot but Jesse Ventura also almost did it on his second try. But if he's saying that actual shot is difficult I have to fucking laugh. He's tracking a slow moving vehicle in nearly a straight path. How fucking hard is that?

Carlos Hathcock made a bunch of wild claims that I don't believe.

I would like to know more about this and exactly what Hathcock meant on this. Is he saying he couldn't make 3 shots in 6 seconds at less than 100 yards away? Or couldn't do it with that rifle?

The Seinfeld gang figured it out long ago.

it’s all explained here.

All this thread is really making me wonder is how many fictional characters have been portrayed as killing Kennedy. Seems to be quite a lot.

Judging by the fact the kill shot came the front and it is literally impossible to fire 3 shots in that time frame .. .. Oswald either had help or was a straight up patsy.

More or less 350...

Sounds like a porn review...

I think the answer is pretty obviously that there money to be made by playing to CT's that is a hefty temptation for dishonesty.

Who shot him? Don't know but the operation was most likely masterminded by Allen Dulles and Bill Harvey.

The bullet that hit President Kennedy in the head was an expanding bullet that exploded upon impact which, in turn, exploded Kennedy’s head. This bullet could have come from anywhere and caused the head to jerk backward upon 'explosion.' It is a muscle and neurological reflex. It is not the direction from which the bullet came, it’s the effect of the bullet inside Kennedy’s head.

You can probably still find online a video of the execution of Italy’s fascist WWII leader Mussolini. They shoot him in the head from the rear, and his head goes forward.

Chicago Mafia hitman James Files says he made the fatal shot, from the grassy knoll, but he also says a 2nd shooter was in the building to the rear. Files didn’t say this for money, as he turned down an offer from Oliver Stone. Files said he used a mercury laced bullet. He also said he left, as a trademark, a bullet casing with his bite mark on it. In 1987 a man and his son were on the grassy knoll with a metal detector and found a bullet casing with teeth marks on it. The bullet casing's markings (head stamp) indicate it was manufactured before the year 1972.

But, had Hathcock said otherwise, you would have believed him. So, Hathcock is now an unreliable source because his claims do not fit the narrative.

I don't need to go watch online videos to see what happens to a human head when shot when I've seen it happen with my own eyes. Various things can happen depending on the caliber and location. The headshot was reproduced on video on a dummy and did the exact same thing. Then you account for the fact that Kennedy had a fused spine which changes his mobility entirely.

And I have to laugh at you resorting to Carlos Hathcock's word. He's said a bunch of stupid shit just like Chris Kyle. Apparently the greatest sniper on the planet can't make a sub 100 yard shot on a man sized target. Pretty fucking pathetic if you ask this Marine.

And even more hilarious the thought that a bullet casing sat on top of the Grassy Knoll for 25 years before it was "found". Why the fuck would he use a mercury bullet and leave the casing?

We really shouldn’t make these threads unless somebody’s willing to derail them with discussion of whether Allistair Crowley is Barbara Bush’s father
