I thought he looked more like "Get this trash out of here" and didn't want to entertain him. Izzy said look me in my eyes, so DDP didn't. Then Izzy said come here, feel me, so DDP walked away. He wasn't letting Adesanya tell him what to do

DDP doing this helped to make Izzy look like an idiot. We all have mixed reviews on how things went down, but I think the majority felt that DDP conducted himself better. I doubt DDP was really intimidated but he looked it to me, but that might be more of my surprise that he showed so much restraint.

Oh it’s DDP for sure. For Izzy to get inside the cage, get in DDP’s face, use a racial slur repeatedly while talking to a white man on the basis that he claims to be the only fighter actually fighting out of Africa…I don’t know. I’m not offended by any of this, it’s actually somewhat funny, but as is often the case with Izzy when he talks to his opponents, it’s actually more cringe-worthy than intimidating.

I like Izzy and he’s free to do whatever he wants, but DDP’s kinda right when he says that’s not how a champ or a man should carry himself. And for DDP to not really give a shit, just abruptly turn his back on Izzy to keep celebrating the biggest win of his career was also kind of badass.

Just watched the face off. My take is DDP talked about Izzy not being a true African champion and now it kind of backfired.

I mean, c'mon. No black guy is gonna let that slide from a white dude.
