To be fair, I don't know anything about the political scene in Belgium and how bad the right wingers are. And, for all I know, the left there really is the bully like you see whiny conservatives say it is here.

In the United States, even the more "moderate" and dignified right wing groups like FedSoc, where it's a bunch of rich kids in boat shoes and polo shirts chuckling about their classmates working at Pizza Hut to pay through school, deserve to get their asses kicked. I'm not going to flagellate myself for enjoying seeing/hearing about it happening.

Well, the left isn't a bully here but some of them are "activists" for all the wrong reasons. I think they're just angry in general and need an escape goat.

What I think is that you can't take one example of a guy who can handle himself and extrapolate it to the entire group. The guy I was talking about is not representative of the antifa people here, in fact he's an outlier.

I've never been a part of the Proud Boys, never wanted to be a part of the Proud Boys, but I was a part of the Proud Boys facebook group for a long time because, at the time, I was watching Gavin's show on Compound Media and found him entertaining.

If someone ever tells you the Proud Boys is about white supremacy, racism, bigotry, etc, you're being lied to. I can say first hand there were Proud Boys of just about every race you can think of and there were a bunch of gay Proud Boys. I've seen Gavin PERSONALLY instruct the Facebook group mods to ban anyone posting racist or homophobic stuff.

The whole basis of the Proud Boys was to be a club for dudes to go out, drink and try to get laid. Gavin thought men today were becoming too pussified and antisocial, and spending way too much time jerking off to porn instead of going out and trying to bust a nut in a living breathing woman. So basically it was just a bunch of conservative/libertarian dudes getting together in cities across America to drink and have fun. That's it.

Then Gavin became lumped into the "alt right" movement and certain offensive things he said made him run afoul of far leftists, so suddenly he'd get attacked by Antifa and the Proud Boys would be there to defend him, so Antifa vs Proud Boys became a thing and of course if you're fighting against Antifa, that means you MUST be a Nazi white supremacist. There were individual Proud Boys getting jumped and beaten up at bars and on the street by groups of Antifa. One guy had his business vandalized and the RV parked outside of his house smashed up and spraypainted by Antifa members. So it got ugly real quick.

Unfortunately, true Nazi shitbags decided to show up to rallies like "Unite the Right" and then everyone else was unfairly smeared as a Nazi. If a rally had 500 people and 10 people showed up with Swastikas, it was automatically a "Nazi Rally".

So most of the Proud Boy reputation is bogus.

Nah, only other online forum presence has been Check Hook Boxing with a handful of posts on its spinoff that was created by a moderator revolt.
