Who is the WWE GOAT ?

Let's take a look at things that I think we should all consider when talking GOAT in any sport/entertainment/business

- Impact

- Time at the Top of His/Her Sport

- Longevitiy

- Charisma

- Mic Skills

- Wrestling Ability

- Psychology

- Draw

- Name Recognition

Hogan and the only one who comes close or could be argued over Hogan is Sammartino.

While Austin or Rock may be popular choices, a minute or two of thinking it over and most reasonable fans can figure out why they shouldn't be considered the WWE GOAT.

Rock was only an active WWE wrestler for 7 years and was only a top wrestler for 3-4 years.

Austin was only an active full time WWE wrestler for 7-8 years but spent a good year not wrestling due to injuries. His time on top was very short.

Hogan was on top from '84-'91. Sammartino is the only one who can be argued as a true challenger to Hogan's title and this is coming from someone who's favorite wrestler as a young fan is Bret Hart.

Hogan. Was supposed to be the heel against Rock at WM and the crowd flipped it.

The crowd turned on Rock, because it was Hogan.

He's the icon.

...but Bret Hart is still my all time fav.

What kind of question is that? The answer is so obvious:

I would say Hogan. He is more than likely the PW GOAT in the United States too, possibly the world.

Brutus Beefcake before he became "The Barber". He actually pinned Hulk Hogan but it didn't count technically because Hogan had a foot outside the ring.

It's weird, he began his career billed as Hogan's brother

After Beefcake I'd go with Virgil

Hogan.

Still not the GOAT

WOOOOOO

You mean ol' Brother Brutay?

Austin, HBK, Rocky, Bruno, Hogan, Flair, Hart, Cena, Taker, Sting. You can make an argument for any of them really.

There is zero argument for Flair or Sting as WWE GOAT.

Thought we were just talking wrestling Goat, that completely changes my list in that case. I don't even have Hogan up there honestly, his best years were in WCW as Hollywood Hogan.

Always hate these threads because Austin get's no love on this site.

Stone Cold is the biggest star in the history of the WWE, says Vince McMahon.

I agree, and would say The Rock is just a hair behind. But they're so damn good and compliment eachother perfectly that I fully respect the opinion that The Rock is a hair better.

Then Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan.

Just because we rightly believe he's inferior to The Hulkster doesn't mean he doesn't get any love. Being in the top 5 is still pretty good...bruther.

The Rock has done the most with his career after the WWE, but he would have never had the opportunities in Hollywood if he wasn't a rassler first. Hogan/Rock/Austin are pretty interchangeable in the modern era. Bruno overall GOAT though.

Thread needs a poll.
