Who is the smallest fighter that you think could beat a UFC heavyweight?

No one under 170 beats the worst UFC heavyweight.

LW and below no chance. Black Beast for instance would kill Khabib.

Elite WW MAYBE Is the smallest that have some shot against against the worst HWs.
Elite MW have a far better shot.
No way. Bb can't wrestle at all.
You go wrestle a guy like 80 pounds lighter than you who is good and he'll make you his bitch still.

Id say CCC would cause the most problems at the smallest weight.

His TDs are too elite and quick for a HW, even ones with a wrestling background, to defend them all.

Ive trained with some elite BW wrestlers that could take down the whole room, even HWs with prior wrestling. Just too quick and can circle too quickly.

Little guy would have to be lighting quick ensnaring a choke during one of the scrambles and try not to get slammed off.

Ilir Latifi. Swedish Grecoroman champion (213 pounds) and european ADCC submission wrestling champion (218 pounds). Used to fight at 205 but moved up and weighed 250 pounds on his fight with Lewis to match up his size. He tried to wrestle the entire match. He lost a decision because he couldn't keep Lewis down and he struggled a lot ot even take him down. But you think that Khabib that is on fight night 80 pounds lighter than this guy would do much better and make Lewis "his bitch"?

I wonder if MM could beat the worst HW on the UFC roster.

Ok, let's say somehow, someway, Henry with his technique, speed, experience, timing and explosiveness manages to get a takedown on Cyril Gane who since Jon Jones took him down has now become according to sherdog in the heavyweight with the worst take down defense in the history of the universe. Then what? What does he do after? I'm sorry but I'm just struggling to see this picture lol. 5'3'' and 150 pounds Cejudo takes down 6'5'' and 250 pounds Cyrill Gane, and then he is somehow trying to control a dude on the ground 100 pounds heavier than him. Reminds me of this scene from Game Of Thrones:

And here is what happens after Cyrill Gane sweeps him

I reckon that is the reason Gane wasn't even defending the choke and was just trying to stand up. A lot of heavyweights seem to do this, they give up their back too, they don't care because once they are up, it doesn't matter. It's because he has been taken down many times by people that weighed 50 pounds less than him (and 50 pounds more than Cejudo btw) and he simply has been able to stand up while they try to sink in a choke in vain or try to keep him in the ground to no avail. Same way as Black Beast stands up doing everything you are not supposed to do and still gets away with it leaving comentators like Cruz and Felder speechless.

Smallest fighter? I reckon Merab could put a hell of a pace on either of them if he can avoid that HW power. Easier said than done though.

LW is so deep in talent the top 10 there could give those HW's fits.

Okay, have current khabib and latifi wrestle and see how that goes.
That's like saying Ryan bader smokes bo in pure wrestling because he's just heavier. Yes weight makes a big difference, but skill also makes a huge difference

I did wrestling for four years and judo for ten. And my experience is that it matters very little what your credentials are when you're going against someone literally twice your size.
it depends tbh. I think that Size matters when both people have the same amount of experience for example if an MMA fighter who's 170lbs fought one that's 250 lbs and they've both been training for 3 years obviously the bigger one would have an advantage. But if a trained MMA fighter who's 170 lbs who's been training for 3 years fought a untrained person who's 250lbs the MMA fighter would destroy the untrained person. It most likely wouldn't even be close.

I could see a top tier wrestler like Cejudo definitely working over a few HW's if he was able to grab hold of them.

This sport is full of delusional people lol.

Unless they're not actually HW's then he's not working any of them over. He's 5'4, 135lbs. These guys are all literally twice his mass and 10 inches taller than him.

No Bader is 205er and Bo is a 185er. 20 pounds not over 60 pounds of difference. Bader is not a national champion like Latifi and Khabib does not have the credentials that Bo has. Horrible analogy

Let's be clear here so that everyone sees how delusional you are regarding Khabib lol. You are saying that Khabib (a 155 pounds MMA fighter) would win at wrestling against the Swedish Grecoroman champion (at 213 pounds) and european ADCC submission wrestling champion (at 218 pounds) because size doesn't matter when one is more skilled, and Khabib is a way better wrestler than that guy.

<Huh2>

Are you retarded? Bader is walking around close to 250-260 plus.
Bo is probably 200.
Khabib is nowhere south of 200 pounds right now, against latifis 250 range.
Khabib would smoke him.
Bo would smoke bader.
You're a fool and your opinions suck.
Ive got like 80 pounds on mighty mouses walk around weight and I wrestled
He'd stomp my shit.
Levels fool.
