Who is the least skilled male UFC Champion of all time ?

From December 2015. This sums up Bisping’s standing at the height of his powers. He leapfrogged a few spots for beating Leites and CB. Frankly, that should have landed him at 10. We all know Moose and Bobby would have beaten the brakes off him. Even Urijah Hall at that point could have taken him according to practice room stories.

Bisping went on to squeak by post leg break, unranked Anderson and got his TS.

Good MW, but never great. A perennial 10-15 type guy who landed himself a TS and capitalized against a guy who embarrassed him previously.

tbf to bisping, this MW division was a absolute shark tank
and he was already "old" by this point

Okay okay, Sorry to bug you again but just one more

What was my message a response to?
Edit: found it, Jesus you guys are deep googling…but yeah Alex was a surprise

the funny thing about people saying forrest is that he was more skilled than anyone in the current LHW top5

people took that beating from anderson as forrest being a shitty fighter, but the point of that is anderson being a unreal good striker

forrest was a good striker, decent wrestler with a submission threat and good positional grappling
which is more than you can say for guys like pereira(great striker, zero grappling) or ankalaev(decent striking, decent wrestling, zero bjj)

Be honest, you didnt watch him fight.
Menne beat Pele Landi or Newton in their primes, among many other legit fighters
I'll kindly as you not make assumptions about my MMA viewing history.
But, if you have a different answer than Menne, I'd honestly love to hear it.

But the dude has TWO wins in the UFC (to go with four losses) and they were over Fabiano Iha and Gil Castillo

Yeah and Fedor had none. Must have been poorly skilled that guy

Menne beat Carlos Newton exactly the fight before Newton beat Pat Miletich for the UFC tittle, so there you have a better answer.
Actually two answers, considering Pat and Menne had three high profile common opponents around their prime - Newton, Pele Landi, Nakao - and Menne did significantly better vs every single one (Menne beat them all, Pat lost to all of them)

But Dave was less charismatic, less impressive looking, and felt into irrelevance after he retired, therefore his name value is poor and a perfect recipe for shertards to make a meme of him. Thats all there is, am I wrong? Be honest, friend

Removing the early days of the UFC out of it.............................I'd say Forrest Griffin. He accomplished a lot with really not a lot of skill outside of heart and stamina.

Menne was champion at 185. Miletich fought at 170, so comparing their common opponents doesn't really carry as much weight as you think it does.
Strike 1.

As a coach (whose job is LITERALLY SHARING YOUR SKILLS) Miletich produced FOUR UFC champions (Hughes, Lawler, Timmeh and Pulver).
Strike 2.

Miletich defended his belt 4 times. Menne defended zero times.
Strike 3.

Your move.

Menne, Miletich and Newton were very close in size.

Everything you said doesnt relate to how skilled they were, which is what the thread is about. Its wikipedia. Its nothing and pussy.

You should actualy watch them fight to reply in this thread imo. I bet you could not tell the differences in their skill set, let alone signature moves or peformances vs common opponents, in or out UFC
