Who is considered the godfather of Judo in MMA?

yeah but it's about mma, so..
My post is about MMA. Judoka have been fighting in MMA since the 80s. MMA is primarily from Japan.

This is like saying there wasn't any grappling in JMMA or Vale Tudo in the 80s and 90s. Almost every grappler back then was using judo not wrestling, unless it was explicitly stated they were folkstyle american wrestlers.

oh yeah but it's like saying well baseball dates way back too maybe there was someone better we don't know. a bit ambiguous and hard to say
