Who hits harder? Prime DC or Stipe?

Melting overeem meaning getting toyed with by a guy who had zero respect for Bigfoot whatsoever for 2 straight rounds before catching the chinniest heavyweight in history

That was the closest Reem was to being Ubereem. He would have toyed with 90% of guys like that in those days. BF doesn't get enough credit for it but he was a bad man at his very peak. Took Reems best shots and then sent him to hell. Knocked out prime Travis Browne.

Beat AA in Strikeforce. Had a split decision against Werdum in Strikeforce too in a very close fight. TKOd later phase career Fedor who was still good and had a historic brawl with Mark Hunt going toe to toe for 5 rounds.

Stipe obviously has the better delivery system so it’s not even worth asking.

He didn’t just outclass him, I mean he avoided knocking him out and just embarrassed Bigfoot for 2 rounds straight

You’re using a loss to werdum and a draw with mark hunt as proof he was an amazing fighter, but werdum 6 fight win streak before stipe knocked him out doesn’t count for some reason

Stipes win over Werdum was good but Werdum never won a meaningful fight after that again.

Where as BF did after losing to DC.

Roy Nelson lost to stipe before he lost to dc, and his record is bad afterwards, like 3-6

Frank Mir was coming off a loss and then went 2-6 afterwards

Bigfoot got knocked out 7 times after losing to DC. He went 3-7-1, his best win when overeem was playing with him, literally playing with him and got caught cause he has a terrible chin

I never listed Nelson or Mir as amazing wins for DC.

BF had a medical condition that was a huge factor in his decline.

The BF who beat AA in Strikeforce, had a close fight with Werdum in Strikeforce, beat Fedor in Strikeforce, knocked out Overeem and Travis Browne and got a title shot in the UFC was a completely different fighter than the guy who went on a massive decline after the ban of TRT.

That version of BF was better than 39 year old Werdum who went 4-5 after losing to Stipe and never winning a meaningful fight or fighting for a title again. Sorry but these are the facts. It seems Stipe faboys can't identify when a fighter is peaking and they can't admit that Stipe did a lot of senior citizen crushing.

I know this wont make sense in terms of pure physics, but,,, in terms of physics;

1) Stipe has more torque adding to his force
B) Cormier is heavier and more compact, thereby shortening the distance his punch has to travel
4) DC can generate a harder blow quicker, more efficiently, without as much technique
13Z) But Stipe, given the correct form and time to land ultimately hits harder.

Based on being a tall, leaner athlete all my life, playing a tall game in grappling; The advantage lies... in who utilizes their body better. But DC's average shot probably has more force behind it for the same reasons that people with that build are better bench pressers. More mass/less distance. Im sure he could bench and overhead press nearly 1.5x what Michael "Stipe" can, but a better predicter of power is probably who can THROW further. Some of the best QB's with absolute cannons for arms honestly have dad bods year round.

He literally beat Travis Browne immediately after, and then had a controversial decision with overeem which could have been a draw or even a werdum win, the two fighters youre hyping up as bigfoots meaningful wins

Bro chill all I said was DC beating peak Barnett and peak Bigfoot in his first 5 fights was more impressive than Stipes win over Werdum when it happened based on Werdum being 39 and going on a skid after and never fighting for a title again and never winning a meaningful fight again. You can debate it all you want but I think the BF and Barnett that DC beat were better than 40 year old Werdum. The fact that DC had so little fights under his belt made it even more impressive.

Seems obvious to me that the answer should be DC

But someone I'm discussing mma with is absolutely convinced Stipe hits harder

And I'm an idiot for believing otherwise

What do yall think?
I may be incorrect, but DC recorded the hardest punch on ufc tonight back before they started using the power cube.

DC knocked out prime Stipe who's pretty damn durable.

DC knocked out 300lb TRT Bigfoot who brawled Mark Hunt toe to toe for 5 rounds without getting knocked out.

DC has more of a clubbing power, Stipe is the more accurate puncher who also has a lot of power.

Browne, Tybura, gustaffson, arguably renan ferreira and arguably overeem. He was still good for a few years after but obviously getting older affects you. He was still extremely good when he lost to stipe, it’s plain to see the age take over AFTER he lost to stipe

I didn't say he wasn't good. I said he was almost 40 years old and went 4-5 in his next 9.

Travis Browne lost his next 2 after losing to Werdum and retired.

Gustaffson lost his next fight after Werdum and retired.

Tybura? Lol

Come on bro.

BF beat Reem when he was still on the Ubereem cycle and coming off a win over Brock and hadn't been KOd in the UFC yet.

BF beat Browne when he was coming off a KO win over Reem.

You see how there's a momentum difference between these guys compared to when Werdum beat them when they has none.
.

Momentum matters.

He also just completely keeps blowing by the fact that Bigfoot actually got KO'd by Cain immediately after DC.

And not he went and beat Overeem and Bigfoot as he keeps claiming.

Cain was the best HW on the planet at the time.

BF lost to Cain and went on to KO Reem and Travis Browne and get a second title shot against Cain.

This means he won meaningful fights after losing to DC and got a title shot after losing to DC.

Unlike Werdum who fell off a cliff after Stipe beat him.

Keep burying yourself, Lil guy.

You keep saying Stipe's opponents can't count because they lost a fight(s) afterwards.

But keep counting Bigfoot who immediately got KO'd in 3 minutes in his very next fight for DC by ignoring that fight entirely and focusing on the further down the line Browne and Overeem fights. While also ignoring right after those he once again gets KO'd by Cain, this time in only 1 minute.

You've got a double standard a mile long pal.

I didn't say Stipes opponents don't count because they lost fights afterwards. I said they never won another meaningful fight again and never fought for a title again. You're just spinning it this way because you got nothing else little man.

Francis and DC never fought for a title again?

News to them.
