You can also text your pics to yourself and that will automatically compress them ma'am.
That way you van save them from your text and use them from there.

You're getting advice already, but for me, I found that cropping the photo usually works. Hope one of us helps you out.

Not playing gotcha here, but it happens that imgur offers cropping and some other basic editing, and you can keep straight what photos you have already uploaded, just sayin', it's a free site that works very well. And if you ever want to take them down from the 'dog, delete the pic from imgur and the link to it is broken afaik.
