Well I'm 35 now so probably 2 or 3 or something.
You won't see golliwogs being sold these days because they're racist apparently
But my great-uncle worked at Robinsons at the time and they were famous for having a golliwog on their jam jars until it was banned.

I didn't wanna pull the race card, but now that you mentioned it, that golliwog? is uh...kinda unsettling. Like if my son's friend showed up to my house wearing that, I'd think his dad was trying to say something.

It's not someone in a suit, it's a toy golliwog, looks very realistic tho!
There's another picture of my mum pregnant with me and two of her cousins who were also pregnant, all holding the same golliwogs.

Actually it was Robertsons, not Robinsons. And it was marmalade. They even had tv adverts with them on and this was only the 80's...
