Happened to me once like five years ago. Back when I was a banquet server, I was working a wedding and two older women waved me over to their table. They asked me if I watched NCIS. I said no. They said I looked like one of the actors in it. I asked them which one. They couldn't remember his real name or his character name. It felt like an eternity that I was standing there trying to help them come up with the source of the comparison. And I was excited since I'd never gotten a celebrity comparison before, but all I came away with was that I may or may not look like an unnamed actor who may or may not have been in NCIS.
