Fedor is to me is the best and most skilled heavyweight to have competed, but he has been surpassed by many fighters & Champions, Merab for one and realistically Fedor hasn’t been relevant in GOAT conversations since 2015, although a handful of dishonest Fedor fans has been spreading some double standard nonsense & propaganda about his career to keep relevant, when in reality it’s laughable.

Of those UFC champions, he beat two of them twice.


Fedor has proved that he can stand in front of either the best kickboxers of all time, the best grapplers of all time, and the best MMA fighters of all time and he will still beat them.


MMA was basically still in its childhood stage, but Fedor was the GOAT of that period. You can't always compare him to current fighters, as the sport was still in early form of its evolution.

There is nothing on paper to suggest he is the GOAT.


And last but not least - superior athlete syndrome. It is unfair to compare the past generation to the current.

As for his strengths...

Ferocious powerhouse (can be stalled and avoided by smart fighters like Jones).
Tough as nails (not enough to win a GOAT fight though).
