I wouldn't be suprised if DUKE DROESE was an actual garbageman by now.

well, Hogan did dislike Zeus...

It seems you're more into his gimmick than he himself...

How about Bret hart?

I heard numerous stories how he was really into his wrestling character. Shawn michaels even mentioned or once when they were cutting a shoot style promo

That was Michaels way of saying, "Hey man! Fuck you for not letting me and the rest of the Kliq walk all over you like we do everyone else! Don't take it so serious! Let me beat you and kill any cache you still have."

Bret had enough leverage to stand up against jobbing and protect his character. Michaels isn't judged on the same bell curve because he smartly doesn't bring up the past anymore.

The Hogan to NWO transformation

CM Punk being an annoying guy

Rollins betraying his fiancee like he betrayed the shield

As for HHH, good mic worker, terrible wrestler. What's the point of having muscles if you're not going to do power moves? All his matches had to rely on weapons shots or run ins from other people. Very forgettable WM matches unless he was losing or getting hit with the harlem hangover, in a match he should have lost.

Macho ate, shit, and slept Macho.

I Can Dig it!!

Cena, would say Hogan, but he is pretty much the opposite of his gimmick when the cameras are off. Porn videos and such.

Lmao, that's awesome. Reminds me of one of my uncle's friends. Metalheads, born in the late 60s, I guess. Saw a Motorhead show back in the day, went up to Lemmy who was maintaining his shitfacedness at a bar afterwards. Said hi, or bowed, or did whatever metalheads do when they meet God, and Lemmy spit in his face. It was very well received; like, "holy SHIT Lemmy just spit on me, man!!!"

I would've broken a beer bottle over that old limeys skull if he spat on me.

Rowdys story makes sense, he's keeping character, Lemmy was just a piece of shit.

During that time, particularly in the punk community, spitting was actually seen as a sign of respect and solidarity, and Motorhead (despite being considered Metal, regardless of Lemmy's protestation at the label) were very much involved in the punk community, and would often tour with Punk acts like The Damned.

It's like a disgusting equivalent to Antonio Inoki slapping you. If Inoki slaps you, he respects you.

CM Punk is a Sociopathic straight edge atheist jerk
in and out of the ring

Well. He was perfect. I'll give you that. I always liked his Rap is Crap schtick.

And I still find myself doing this with my gum from time to time.

My all time favourite wrestler. RIP. The man that took Brock Lesnar down at 30,000 feet.

I'm 100% sure RVD's stoner gimmick has been lived to the fullest.

Macho Man.

He appeared on Weird Al's show and, in his segment, he was getting beat up by Harvey the Wonder Hamster. He phoned Al the night before they shot it, agitated and worried, and anxiously confirmed with Al that Harvey wasn't a girl hamster because that would ruin his image.

Macho for sure except for that weird phase where he was "Bone Saw".

Flair last man out the bar first one in the gym

No.. Flair said in the podcast with Hogan that he was ashamed to go with Hogan to Gold's because he didn't work out as much as Hogan and his friends.

Lol wow, never knew that. What a weird and wonderful dude.

Except both Piper and Inoki are in gimmick, whereas Lemmy is just a piece of shit that spit on you. That's not punk, man. That's something an elitist douche would do to you.

Brock Lesnar: a beast who doesn't give a crap about anybody and just want to destroy everything in his path
