Dude. Relax. Sure she is an woman but there’s no way Masvidal is as technical. Neither are Hooker and Gaythje. She has zero telegraph, very accurate, ridiculous timing and good power.
She’s just leagues above her competition right now.

Masvidal is one of the most underrated kickers on the men's side, he's one of the few fighters who can throw a proper round kick straight from his stance with very little telegraph. He also has pretty good reads, timing, and accuracy, most folks forget that he was beating Cerrone in the kicking game before he knocked him out with his fists.

To me, a good kicker is someone who has good form & technique on their kicks, the timing & setups to land them consistently, and the ability to throw & land kicks in a broad variety of situations. If we take Barboza for instance, he kicks well but only when you give him time & space to work. Once you start pressuring him or forcing him backwards he can't kick for shit. Yair can throw a ton of different kicks but he has no timing or setups and whiffs on 90% of them. When you work through the UFC's roster this way you end up with a very short list; you get Wonderboy, Masvidal, Joanna, Valentina, and not too many others.

I don't know if she's the best since there might be a fighter on the roster I can't think of off the top of my head or haven't seen fight yet, but she's definitely one of the best.

I mean if we're talking solely technique, then Shev is probably really better than a lot of male fighters.

Of course, if we're taking power into the equation, Valentina would not come close to a similar sized man.

Throw zabit and prime Pettis in there too.

Wonderboy but its tough to say. Bullet seems to get off a wider range of attacks with less time spent finding range, she might be the best martial artist as a whole right now

What makes Shev so special is that she actually times her kicks. She times her back kick and spinning hook kick as a counter attack something that her Taekwondo background taught her since its common practice. Barboza is another fantastic kicker.
