Damn lhw on the shelf for at least 7-8 months..superfights heyThey said that's not happening. DC will have the chance to briefly be the champ - champ. He'll probably have to choose which to keep shortly after if he wins.
That would be my guess even though I think Gus takes that fight easilyGus vs OSP I guess. OSP is coming off a huge wins over Corey Anderson and Yushin Okami.

Gus also fights once in a year so that's all right. He will fight OSP meanwhile and that's it.Yah thats the thing, if DC gets knocked out brutally he might not come back until like December. That being said there isn't exactly a large queue of contenders at 205 atm. Pretty much just Gustafsson and he's coming off two wins over two years. Same thing for heavyweight. There's pretty much just Werdum and maybe Volkov. I'd try putting these two and maybe Gus - OSP on UFC 226 with Stipe - DC.
and people say DC has challengers at LHW. I mean how can you run away from a division like that when one of the top guys has a recent win over Yushin Okami? DC is a total coward obviously.Gus vs OSP I guess. OSP is coming off a huge wins over Corey Anderson and Yushin Okami.
I agree with this. It's getting pathetic how old these divisions are, with no new contenders. At least recruit out of NCAA Wrestling like Bellator does.the UFC should start going to junior colleges and recruiting NCAA football/basketball talent that do not have the grades or have been kicked out of university.
they prob wont go pro and are big and athletic enough to compete in LHW/HW.
He won't have to gain any weight. He's cutting from 230+ to fight at 205. He'll be a good 230-240 against Stipe just like when he previously fought at heavyweight. At his age do you think DC can gain weight to fight at heavyweight and then cut weight to fight at light heavyweight again? I'm not sure that's a good idea or if he's even able to do it. I can't help but think of how that ruined Roy Jones Jr's career.
