Who else is furious with Anthony Johnson?

That was one of the lowest fight IQ displays I've ever seen.
Anyone who though rumble could beat cromier is clearly retarded.. rumble was always a punch or die fighter and nothing more.. cromier is a all around great . Huge mismatch skill wise and IQ

So if he won he wouldn't have been able to retire because of champions clause?
Maybe he did intend to lose.
You can retire at any point. Nobody can force you to fight. If your contract is not up you just can't fight in another promotion if you unretire. The champion's clause deals with contracts that are about to expire, but it doesn't, nor it could, prevent a champion from retiring.

Disagree.

If Rumble stayed composed, picked his shots and sprawl and brawled he could have won. Cormier has a terribly sloppy defense and tends to get hurt a lot.

I had DC as a favorite, but Rumble fought stupidly.

If you're " furious " with Rumble. I'd suggest you take this shit a little too seriously. It's sports...Not the be all, and end all, of life.

If this is UberTS, Rumble is in deep trouble

I wonder if AJ wrestled DC knowing it was his last fight win or lose to prove a point. We already knew he could outstrike Cormier. Maybe Rumble wanted to prove he could outwrestle him.

The other thing is, if you'd already decided ahead of time it was your last day on the job, how hard would you try for the promotion your boss has been dangling in front of you forever? Even subconciously, that's got to affect your will to win.

I'm not furious, AJ risked his health doing something he doesn't like and entertaining us for a long time. I'm glad he's moving onto something that will make him happy.

I'm not mad at all. He wasn't going to win no matter how he fought. What he chose to do didn't afford him his best chance at winning but it's really not worth critiquing it. Fighters make choices and he figured what he did didn't work before so let's go a different route and maybe some shots will open for him.

I'm not furious, I'm sad like with Tate.

The young 30-ish year olds are losing motivation faster these days than the elder statesmen.

I just wanna know what this new career is. He doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who's going into a field that's actually exciting and fulfilling unless he's fittin' to become a male porn star.

I will not miss Anthony Johnson an in time he will be forgotten by all. No legacy.

He'll be known as one of if not the highest KO amounts in the UFC, and up there with Hendo as pound for pound hardest punchers ever. He does have a lot to be ashamed of but he will be remembered.
