Gal recording herself in the gym

Luckily here in the far south that shit does not happen.. at least not in the gyms I go.

I saw only once a girl filming one of her sets and I think it was purely to watch her own technique.. she put her phone in a bench to record. After she finished a guy asked if she was using the bench and she say sorry and took off her phone.

There is a super jacked guy in his (I think) late 50s that film his sets but puts his phone in a place that does not bother anyone (in the floor against a fixed bench) and I have never once saw him bitch about people walking through his videos.

BTW... I have no problem in kicking a tripod into oblivion. Fuck people that does that in crowded gyms. I can't believe my eyes when a video of Joey Swoll pops up in my instagram... are people really that stupid?

And this gym doesn’t need that type of tomfoolery.

BTW.. hip thrusts are common and a solid glutes exercise. It surprises me how it bothers you so much... even the smallest and most ghetto gyms I have trained had and particular place to do them. Guess yours does not.

Hip thrust is a legit workout, especially for fighters so much of your hip strength is important for grappling, you can even see Pereira doing it here.

I’ve seen the Joey Swoll videos: the dude who gets pissed off at people acting like idiots in the gym.


There’s this gal that does the hip thrust workout with the bar across her hips. Back when I was in high school and college you never saw anyone doing that type of lift. A guy I work with who’s a bit younger says it’s pretty common now and not all that weird.

Fair enough, but she has her camera propped up filming in the direction of her crotch. And, she’ll pick the camera up close to her face, give a peace symbol to it and mouth a kiss to the camera.

The gym doesn’t do anything about this. And she’s getting other people in the camera at times.

Then she’ll set the camera at the bottom end of a treadmill and run on it barefoot. With the camera angle at her feet, slanted up.

Again, nothing. The gym doesn’t do anything about it.

Then there’s even more stupid shit with her going to the tricep pull down, hoisting herself upside down and posing like Spider-Man dangling.


Any of you at gyms where they actually will kick her out if someone did this stuff and filmed it all?

The barefoot thing is bullshit. I do it in my gym because it’s mine

In Florida the owner of the gym I went to encouraged people to knock down phones of women recording themselves because he had a no recording policy.
