Who ducked more guys as a belt holder? Anderson, Fedor, or Aldo

Fedor ran from the entire UFC when they're HW division got really strong for a while. The UFC was going to pay him more money than any fighter in UFC history, and he wanted nothing to do with Brock who was smashing dudes at the time. There was also Carwin and Cain that were crushing dudes on their way up.

Anderson ran from Sonnen for a long time. Especially before the 2nd fight. DW even stated that it took like 3 months to get Anderson to address the fight with him, and they had to force him in a room. Anderson didn't like the idea of fighting a guy who could take him down and control him. Anderson tried to duck Vitor when they fought as well, and used the whole Brazilians shouldn't fight each other routine, and the UFC pretty much and to force his hand there, even though he won in an impressive fashion. The worst was when he ducked Weidman for an entire year even taking a freak show fight with Bonnar who had just turned 40 and was thinking about retirement. What a slapstick match up that was. Might as well had been a WWE fight when Weidman was begging and begging to get his chance. Looking at that in hind sight now, boy was that pathetic that Weidman had to go through all of that just to beat Anderson when he could have won the entire time.

Aldo tried to duck Pettis when DW tried to set up that fight at first. Took Aldo like 3 months to finally agree to that, and DW said multiple times that Aldo and his camp wouldn't entertain the idea of Pettis getting that shot. He finally agreed when the UFC wouldn't let him fight Lamas instead. He then tried to duck Mendes the 2nd time, and screamed for Lamas the entire time. He got his wish and Lamas got the shot eventually, because Aldo knew it was an easy win for him. Unfortunately for him, Mendes kept winning, and he had to fight Mendes a 2nd time. He won based on the judges. He had also pulled out of the original fight with Mendes due to injury of course, hoping that someone else would beat Mendes for him. Then came Connor, and Aldo kept acting like Connor was way to disrespectful for him to get the title shot during the world tour even though he had agreed to it. He even tally pulls out again due to some rib injury that he was cleared for, and Connor becomes the new champion.

Guys like Penn, Cain, Weidman, Frankie, and GSP fought all comers. Guys truly carried themselves like warriors and what a belt holder should be.

The UFC should have a rule that a belt holder should be willing to defend their belt at least three times a year. That is the whole point of having the belt to show that you are the best and will fight anybody.

My vote goes to Anderson for king ducker though. Making Weidman wait an entire year was the most ridiculous thing I have seen from any belt holder.

Thank you for giving us another idiotic thread. These are always worth the read for a good laugh

Anderson did, Aldo and Fedor didn't have any real weaknesses, Anderson did hus absolute best to try and avoid wrestlers

How can someone spend so much time writing to come up with such stupid shit? What a moron

You've contradicted yourself so many times my head is hurting. Fedor wanted nothing of Brock so he signed with Strikeforce where he could have fought Overeem on steroids, who's already proven to be better than Brock? Overeem can't become a worse fighter over time either but Brock can?

You haven't even addressed any of my other points.

Haha yeah I was thinking the same thing! The TS has basically out argued himself! Fedor ducked Brock to fight guys like Reem who beat Brock? Cain went 5 years unbeaten assuming you don't count the time he was erm...beaten?!

Aldo has repeatedly ducked Mendes...apart from the two times he beat him?!

Seriously TS just post some porn and be done with it!

Actually, Fedor ducked CC for some time back in Pride. Even his manager said he was no match for CC on the feet...until he went to Holland to train with top kickboxers such as Spong and Bonjasky.

This thread is bad and you should feel bad.

So Fedor purposely broke his hand to avoid Crocop?

What a shit thread I'm a Pride fanboy and not even a Fedor fan like that....and he ducked no one....it was my Favorite HW who shit his pants and became friends with Fedor instead if fighting him....(Barnett)

Really? Yeah, because everyone was saying that at the time right? Lol!

NO ONE Said that at the time, and that is laughable as hell. None of those dudes were going to beat Brock at the time or Cain. JDS was smashing everyone on the feet. All SF really had was Big Foot who has never been anything special, and Werdum who wasn't nearly as good as he has gotten over the last 3 years.

Carwin's career may have ended fast, but he was scaring a lot of people at the time with the power in his hands. Unfortunately he started MMA late and injuries caught up to his age.

Fedor was HW, and Overeem was about as hyped as any contender in HW history. They were comparable divisions. It always seemed to me that Fedor wanted an organisation where he could call the shots from a business point of view.

I hate the "take all comers, what a belt holder should be" attitude, I love seeing champions being smart about the fights they take. Yes, they should fight the best but if two fighters have earned a shot they should take the better match up, they've worked their whole careers to get to a position where they can make life changing money, if they've a brain they should make decisions that will prolong that. You're thinking like a juvenile "Are you a damn warrior or what, fight the best every fight, pussy", meanwhile they're thinking "will I still have money in 15 years when my kids are going to college?". Your attitude is a good amateur attitude, where the stakes are low and your families future can't change in a fight.

Who ducked more good posts as a Sherdogger? Stop watching MMA.

Sorry but if you were following MMA at the time, you would've known on Sherdog, many people thought SF had the better HW division at the time. It wasn't hating on the UFC either, as no one thought SF had any other division better than the UFC, other than HW
