Anderson is more aware than anyone that in the final years fights become more about legacy than anything else. Clearly Anderson felt good about fighting so closely with the Count and then watching his "protégé" in a sense win the belt.

You really got the sense while watching him fight Bisping that Anderson was letting himself enjoy the moment of competition, and wasn't in a hurry to prove anything or rush to a finish (ala Rockhold). A real exchange of sorts happened. Anderson may be second to Fedor but is probably the single greatest striker of all time. Bisping won more on heart and cardio than anything else but I really felt he learned a thing or two from Andy by being on the feet for 5 rounds.

Was never the hugest Silva fan but I don't want to see him overmatched in his final fights. Cormier was a stupid bout from the start and we already knew what Cormier was going to do over 3 rounds. Hall, Whittaker, Brunson, are a few options. Bisping is a remote possibility if Hendo drops out. Moose would be a little too dangerous at this point. Anyone else have ideas, maybe Gus at LHW? A lot of people would be interested in GSP or Sonnen, but the possibility seems remote.

Hall would have been my pick, but he's fighting Brunson.

Would have been cool with Belfort as well, but sounds like he might get Moose. But if not, I'd love Belfort Silva 2

Same answer I gave in the exact same thread yesterday.

Lil Nog. Shogun. GSP. Hall/Brunson winner. Belfort. Bisping/Henderson loser. Alvey. Diaz. The loser of Weidman/Rockhold.

Anyways, 45 should be the cut off date for any professional fighter to stop competing.

I think he should avoid the 205:ers, his legacy is in the 185 division, let's finish it there.
Sonnen 3 would sell as fuck, Belfort is a pretty comfortable win at this point.
Hall would be an interesting matchup, there would not be much action, but the striking prowess of those could result in a "don't-you-fucking-dare-to-blink" kind of fight.

He would win the rematch against Bisping, so why not.

Who the fuck is his "Protege"? You don't mean Bisping do you?

After the Cyborg fight I want to see Silva vs MVP.

Yes, it really almost looked like Silva was sparring with the intent to teach Bisping how to strike at times in there. Your suggestion is a bit silly MVP is not big enough. GSP is more realistic.

Only Big name Superfights make sense. No more belt BS.

Hendo
GSP
Belfort

Make his last cash and retire with honor.

Welterweight MVP is too small but Welterweight GSP isn't?

And no, it really didnt look anything like Silva was sparring with Bisping. You think he let Bisping knock him on his ass and lost the fight for funsies? Did he teach Mike how to knock him on his ass while Mike knocked him on his ass? Is your crazy deluded ass suggesting that Bisping has Silva to thank for being the champ now?

Matt Brown. I know he's a WW and blah blah but it should be a striking masterpiece from a technical point of view and both guys are tough as hell.

Ok illiterate prick, to quote the Bible "As Iron sharpens iron...". Look at the last two rounds. These rounds felt like super intense sparring rounds where Anderson was sharpening Bisping's striking. Bisping knew he had to press the action to win the fight but the intense danger of Anderson's striking was always there, ready to end his decade long dream of being a champ at any moment. Care to make an emo rebuttal to that AndroidRage? It's ok son. Your father understands...
