Clear 29-28 if not 30-27 for Breese IMO. Pointless stats like advancing and center control are irrelevant. Breese landed harder and more damaging shots in the 1st and in the 2nd rounds.

Discuss.

Edit: I would like if any of the mods added a poll (not hoping for that)

My tapology bracket is more f*cked up than Kim's face

was he the 6+ foot tall bald white one, or the 6+ foot tall bald white one?

I thought Strickland was landing a lot more clean shots. nothing breese was landing was landing clean after the first rd. it could have went 29-28 either way. 2nd rd decided it

Breese got a bullshit decision victory over Nakamura in his last fight anyway.

I had bet on Breese but felt he probably lost the second. He definitely lost the 3rd.
He made the wrong choice going to Tristar IMO

Lol.

Strickland won the second and third round, Breese started to gas after the first, Strickland was the fresher fighter and landed better shots throughout the second and third rounds.

waiting for someone to point out that broke ass takedown that lasted for about 5 seconds in the 3rd

I didn't pay close enough attention to score but Fight Metric had Breese outlanding Strickland in R1, Strickland outlanding Bresse in R2, and no stats yet for R3

I wasn't watching that close but I honestly thought Strickland won. Lost the 3rd, arguably won the 2nd, and definitely won the 3rd. Hardly a robbery,.

Exactly. This showed he was broke and expended all of his energy.

Round two is the one in question and it could have gone either way, but good job on staying true to sherdog trends in calling a close fight a "robbery".
