LHW in boxing is175lbs BTW
I wouldn't even train him on grappling. Just take down defense. There's no way to reasonably close to the gap between him and Khabib on the ground with 3 years of training. Better off just training TDD with the hope that the fight doesn't ever hit the ground because khabib will get a sub eventually.Bivol UFC WW champion with 6 months of grappling training with Khabib
Agreed, i have a special diet that leaves me on the verge of diaria all the time so that i can shit on anyone anywhere anytime.MMA is closer to a street fight. That I actually agree with. The closer part.
MMA still isn't a street fight. The first thing you need in a street fight is situational awareness. If you are getting into a fight with multiple opponents and you have no backup or you're relying on security to save you going to the ground is a big no no. You're asking to get kicked or stomped in the head or get hit with a glass bottle or stabbed in your back. It's just not smart.
BJJ and wrestling are made specifically for 1 on 1 fights and don't translate against multiple opponents very well.
There are no rules in a street fight. No such thing as a sucker punch. No such thing as cheating. There's no timeouts. Gotta remember that.
The striking arts will do you better justice for self defense.
Honorable one on one. What does "street fight" mean? Are there weapons? Are we biting, eye gauging, etc.? Where is it taking place: a small elevator (e.g., Buffer vs. Trigg); crowded street/nightclub; open parking lot?
Context matters.

Its not year 1970 anymore. Its more about guns and less about fair duel these days.
Mma is good way to keep that old "lets trade punches and after that we shake hands" spirit alive. I dont understand why some sport fans want to mention street fights all the time.

It's a street fight. Setting parameters and guidelines generally isn't feasible. What does "street fight" mean? Are there weapons? Are we biting, eye gauging, etc.? Where is it taking place: a small elevator (e.g., Buffer vs. Trigg); crowded street/nightclub; open parking lot?
