Who do you think has the best leg kicks in UFC history?

Marco Ruas, Pedro Rizzo, and Maurice Smith had some nice ones in the old days.
They definitely had the best leg kicks of 1990s fighters, though Bas Rutten also had some nasty leg kicks that he finished Warpath with (in a fight he took around 2006 after a 7-year layoff).

Fun fact: the first leg kick ever was Gerard Gordeau vs. Kevin Rosier in UFC 1.

He was also the first fighter to knock someones teeth out as well but he was a dirty eye gouging son of a bitch.

Yep. He was a good striker, though, especially for someone in a crazy "no rules" tournament in 1993.

He also fought Royce with a broken hand and broken foot. I think they may have matched him against a sumo then another kickboxer (Rosier/Frazier winner) hoping something like that would happen in a bareknuckle event against large opponents. Royce's own brother was heavily involved in the early UFCs.

I don't think a fresh/healthy Gordeau would beat Royce, but he'd have more of a puncher/kicker's chance without the broken bones.

I was there for Bas last MMA fight (his original opponent Kimo pulled out prior to the event). It was WFA and I was training with them at Legends gym (Bas, Rampage and Mayhem did their camp there). Mayhem hooked me up with the tickets because I was too broke at the time to come and support. Great times and an epic event here in Los Angeles!

I don't think he had the best leg kicks of all time, but I am shocked Cerrone's name hasn't even been mentioned. He's used them in plenty of fights, but I distinctly remember feeling sorry for Alvarez because of how much pain he looked like he was in every time Cerrone's kicks landed, especially by the end of the fight when he could barely stand.

Rizzo then Aldo, Gaethje, Poatan, Adesanya in any order after Rizzo. Martinez and Chito both have great leg kicks too.

I wanna know the scientific reason for a leg kick KO. Did Varelans go into shock or have a mini stroke? Was he in so much pain that his brain decided to turn off the lights in order to shield him from the trauma? I'm genuinely curious.
TBH I think it‘s more simple than that. Dude tapped to legkicks, like Tank Abott did around the same time. People don‘t realise that early UFC had a ton of quitting to pain or just being gassed. Not judging obviously it s just how it be

Remember that era of Joe Rogan where he would cream his pants over leg kicks?
Now he only creams when there's an muscular black man on the screen.

Anyways Shogun,Aldo and Alves but nowadays Poatan stands out the most.

I think Khabib said those Gaethje leg kicks were the worst hits he'd taken in his career.

This was Dustin's leg after Gaethje.

Also he landed sick intercepting knees to the body
