They seem to have a very similar style in MMA. Both switch hitters and rely heavily on point-fighting background (?). The hands down, little-to-no head movement style they have has both advantages and flaws.

Wonderboy seems to get hit more often because competition in WW is more stacked than HW. Both had shots at the title but failed.

Both great fighters. 2 of my favorites to watch. Wonderboy is more proven and he's been in the game way longer than Gane. When you consider that, Gane might be more naturally talented.
But like I said, both great fighters. No use comparing the 2

Two of my favorites. In terms of just being a prime athletic specimen Gane is more talented and one the most talented fighters ever. To move the way he does as a 240 lbs man is unheard of.

Wonderboy of course is an underrated athlete in his own right. Never gets tired, still moves like a snake at 40 and has the best hip flexibility in MMA. Skill wise he has a much deeper striking arsenal than Gane who is pretty basic in comparison. Gane might be champ some day but you can't compare the competition they've faced.

Good question! Welterweight is a more competitive weight class due to the obvious fact that the majority of the male population is closer to Wonderboy's size than to Gane. Therefore got to give it to Thompson.

Gane isnt 40 and just looking for fan friendly fights on his way out to retirement.

Hendricks was a very decorated wrestling champion, and wonderboy chose to fight him without any belt on the line.
This exactly. Gane is 32 and started MMA in 2018.. Wonderboy is nearly 40 and has been in MMA since 2010 not to mention his 58 kickboxing fights before MMA. 2012 UFC debut for Wonderboy vs 2019 for Gane. Wonderboy already had 13 UFC fights and fought for the title twice before Gane made his UFC debut. No shame in wanting to have some fun fights when your career is almost over... Well while I say its almost over, Wonderboy looked amazing against Holland. Fastest 39 year old I've ever seen.

Definitely Wonderboy… not even close

He’s the greatest karate fighter in history of the UFC by a large margin

Y’all must have forgot about Wonderboy in his prime
GSP is the greatest karate fighter in UFC history. Just ask bisping.
