She should have learned some Spanish especially growing up in texas. she is what we native Spanish speakers call a "yo no sabo" kid. Wagner was bad as a native Spanish speaker I can tell you he was speaking phonetically and he said he didn't understand what he was saying as he didn't know any spanish at all. he later learned the language. i don't get the praise he gets he is the worse portrayal of Pablo Escobar on screen he did not nail Pablos accent or cadence at all which is unique to Medellin.

Texas is not Mexico. I grew up in Texas too. Their are certain towns and cities along the border that are basically like Mexico, and neighborhoods in other cities with lots of Spanish speakers too but that is not how she grew up.

Wagner was still 10X better than Gomez.

Now Andres Parra nailed Escobar as nobody ever did. His work in El Patron del Mal was incredible.

That's because he was'nt speaking english at all (or any language), was more like troll job to show italians back in the days that loved american music but could not speak english at all would not notice the difference
