Who are the most worthless UFC employees and why are they Sean Selby and Mick Maynard?

I didn't care much for Joe Silva and when the stories about how he actually was when he left, definitely has me wishing someone would've punted the little troll. But his matchmaking skills were better than the recent matches we've been getting lately.

Whatever happened to that young UFC fan that they hired awhile back? They credited him with making the Garbrandt vs Kelleher fight.

Jon Anik made a comment between rounds 3 and 4 that Lopes has to do something different cuz he may be down 3 rounds and apparently Shelby and Maynard were death staring him for it. Shelby may have thought Lopes was up 2-1.
Lol he didn't think that, the UFC just really wanted him to win

They run the UFC in the shadows and they’re directly responsible for the lack of good fights over the past several years.

I feel fairly confident that those guys probably do more in an afternoon than dana does in two months
I will agree a lot of match ups they make are bangers and it has to be hard being able to evaluate proper fights with all of the talent on the roster. They take their sweet time booking ranked guys though don’t they?

I imagine they have some sort of computer program that has internal rankings with data such as win/loss streaks, previous fights and their results, dates of when fighters last fought, contract details, perceived level of popularity or similar metrics to determine that, etc etc.

Basically they can probably do the match-making part of their job in about an hour or two.

So basically an Excel spreadsheet and some vlookup tables

Yeah something like that. The information is all at their fingertips and can likely do the job in a very efficient manner rather quickly.

Things might get a little more complicated if you're trying to plan certain fighters around certain events like wanting Canadian fighters to fight on Canada cards and that sort of thing but that's not too big of a hurdle.
