Who are the best leg kickers all time?

Pedro Rizzo
Mirko Crocop.

These are my picks. Cro Cop is #1 for kicks overall, but Rizzo's low kicks are the nastiest of all-time. He literally dented Randy's leg with his low kicks in their first fight, while Cro Cop fractured Yoshida's leg in their fight. It's also never remarked upon, but against Aleksander Emelianenko, it only took two low kicks for Aleks to have to switch from southpaw to orthodox, and the third kick dropped him to his knees.

For all that some number of people love to yammer about the side/front kick to the knee being so brutally effective it's unfair, none of them ever comes into these threads to call the practitioners of those kicks the greatest of leg kickers. Are these kicks that effective, or do some people just like to find excuses to complain about their disfavored fighters?

Aldo’s destruction of Faber’s legs was dominant, I watched that fight at my neighbors house and he wanted Faber to win. Aldo stole his drunken dream that night.
At the time I was rooting for Faber too, I think that was the first WEC card I watched.

The GOAT throwing the scariest leg kick I've ever seen

Aldo, Pereira, and I think I remember Gaethje doing a number on a few dudes legs in WSOF back in the day? Could be getting shit mixed up because old or something.

Pat Barry needs to be mentioned.

First HW fights in the UFC I've seen stopped by leg kicks.

You've never seen a HW fighter win with low kicks prior to Pat Barry? You're missing out on some classic victories from legends of the sport. Marco Ruas beat Paul Varelans with low kicks at UFC 7 and then his student Pedro Rizzo beat Dan Severn with low kicks at UFC 27.

My favorite fighters are all leg kickers.

Aldo/Lima/Alves/Manhoef/Marlon/Rizzo/Barboza/Bas/Ruas

But nobody does the same damage as Barboza.

Pereira outlegkicking Izzy and Jan puts him up very high.

Funny because prior to coming to the UFC, he wasn't known for his leg kicks or leg kick defense at all. Many people even pointed to this as to why he'd lose the first Izzy match in the UFC.

It's a dirty tactic, and not used enough for someone to be the best leg kicker of all time with it exclusively. The two aren't mutually exclusive, Jones fan.
