You forgot this guy

Chuck Liddell - Mohawk, Iceman shorts, beer gut abs, wide stance with the low hands, made the UFC brand
Royce Gracie - The archetype bjj fighter which is what separates mma from stand-up fighting. The image of the tiny diminutive guy in the gi submitting MUCH larger opponents will forever be an icon of MMA.
Anderson Silva - Yellow and Black trunks, the muay thai clinch, effortless strikes and Matrix-esque moves. One of the few fighters the average person could guess based on his silhouette alone

Conor would definitely be top 5 most recognizable but if you've lived in Ireland, his hair/wannabe gangster demeanor hardly stands out. Chuck, Royce, and Anderson look like they could be characters in Street Fighter... Conor just looks like another drunk dude on the train at night and is thus less iconic IMHO

GSP/Randy/Jones are all some of the best ever but have less distinguishing features that make them stand out. Ken Shamrock absolutely belongs in this discussion as he WAS mma to many people (represented real combat in wrestling when it was at its absolute peak in the 90s which was responsible for many crossover fans).

Honestly, Fedor/Khabib would be the #5 slot for me after Conor but it would depend where in the world you are polling people. Same goes for Sakuraba who shares many similarities with Royce
