And rightfully so, great fighter, nice guy.

So you know what a robbery that decision was when there's still this many people calling bullshit.

Only the biggest Romero haters and Whittaker fangirls can pretend that was the right call.

Anyone who can sit there with a straight face and pretend that round 5 should be given the same score as round 1 or 2 for example, has no clue what they're watching.

Clear as day it was a draw.
Yes, according to the UFC point criteria it should have been at least a draw.

Ignoring all that and just looking at it as a fight, Romero kicked his ass.

Either way, there is no case to be made that Whittaker won that, under any rules other than maybe point karate.

AT LEAST A draw? So, what would it be at most? A double extra draw? Or you mean a draw or Yoel wins. Yes, that's the answer.

I think a draw is the most fair way to score that fight.

1. Whittaker 10-9
2. Whittaker 10-9
3. Romero 10-9
4. Whittaker 10-9
5. Romero 10-8

I don't think Whittaker won but I don't think Romero did either

Whittaker did enough in rnd 3 and 4 to stop the 10-8 and win 10-9, respectively. rnd 5 had to be a 10-8. It was a draw indeed.

whittaker won 3 but lost 4?

It's either a draw or a win for Romero, no doubt about it.

If you look at Whittaker's body language after the fight you could see he knew he lost. Even his post fight speach, you could tell he didn't feel like a winner.

The only thing that makes the robbery a bit easier to swallow is the fact that Whittaker is a good guy.

Whittaker won rounds 1, 2 and 4.
If you imply that round 5 was a 10-8 for Yoel, then round 1 can also be a 10-8 for Whittaker.

It was a close fight for sure, but I'm glad that Whittaker got the decision. Romero couldn't win the title, so if he won, Whittaker would still be champion but he would have been defeated by Romero. Bit of a weird situation, no? So Whittaker winning is the better option.

I had it a draw.. using their damn rules you get to a draw there is no 'robbery' that term is to extreme this was a close fight and even if you had it for the other guy it's not a robbery.

So yes a draw.. 3 rounds for Robert and 2 for Romero but one was a 10-8.

If you want to say who got beat up then yea maybe Robert but it doesn't work like that doesn't it ? GSP vs Hendricks, Silva vs Bisping, Bisping vs Hendo 2 etc etc.. they sure as shit didn't put a beating on the opponent in fact it was the other way around.

Lol no, show me where Whittaker drops Romero and comes close to finishing the fight.

I had it a draw, with Whitaker winning 3 rounds and Yoel winning two, the final round being a 10-8.

But when a fight is that close, I don't think it qualifies as a robbery, either way.
