He doesn't. The media just wants Trump to bow to their whims and control him. He capitulated to stay above the fray, which was a huge mistake. Thankfully he's not up for re-elections anytime soon, so it can be largely forgotten. What's likely is the DoJ investigation will lock up more Antifa members as well, and if so all is forgiven.

The videos show him accelerating down a mostly empty Street for the length of a block. The people he hit were locals and UVA students. His car didn't get hit until after he plowed into the crowd.
