Use WS4SB3. The off season program.

If you can eat enough and sleep enough, i.e. good recovery, you can replace the dynamic lower body day with a RE lower day.

EDIT: Vision1, Joe Defranco actually has an RE day alternative template for those who do not want to do the DE stuff. Here it is:

Why would you want to do that?

yea the 3rd one definitely sounds solid.
i lost all my cones a while back and i finally found $3 to get some more cones!
(if gas wasnt $4+ a gallon i probably would have had cones the day after i lost them!)

ohhh shit, that was the post that got me my yellow belt^^^^^

RE work will add more size. If your just trying to bet bigger and stronger, it might be a good idea to focus on in lieu of the DE work for a period.

That's ridiculous. The focus of DE days is speed strength. If he is an athlete, looking to build explosive speed strength for football, he would most definitely NOT want an RE day. It might be a viable option for in season training though.
