Old school options:
Datsik over Arlovski
Hallman over Hughes x2
Datsik over Arlovski
Hallman over Hughes x2
Yeah Cat was a legit talent -- she went through some rough shit sadly which plagued her career, but she had some nice moments.Cat Zingano beating Amanda Nunes. If Cat didn't fell off a cliff that would've been a helluva rematch.
If you have fight pass i suggest checking it out. One of the most violent WMMA fights you'll ever see.
That was such a great upset. Unfortunately, he was never able to replicate his performance after than and got battered a bunch. And yes, gotta love Sheetz lolThat was in Pittsburgh. Same night Pat Barry and Chieck Kongo did what they did.
Charlie Brenneman was draped in Sheetz gear, which wouldn't mean anything to anyone outside of Western Pennsylvania. But to us, it was epic.
Totally unexpected, especially given Story had just beaten Hendricks and Alves.
I think that was when Dana promised that Nate would never fight in the UFC again.Yeah, after checking out,
Charlie was a last minute replacement for Nate Marquardt who was supposed to make his WW debut but failed a drug test.
I disagree that Michael Johnson's win over Poirier aged well. That would universally be referred to as a fluke in the same vein as Urijah Hall KOing Mousasi. It hardly validates Johnson's career considering he was not doing well going into this fight and did even worse after it.Examples:
Michael Johnson beating Poirier and Ferguson. Tony went on a 12 fight winning streak and Poirier went on to beat some of the best guys in the division.
Adriano Martins finishing Islam. As we know, Islam is now champ with that loss being the only one on his record and he has established himself as one of the GOATs in the division.
Literally thread, it doesn't get better than this lol.

IMO Holloway's wins over Aldo have aged well. At the time, Aldo was 1-3 in his last 4 and it looked like he was washed up but he obviously still had quite a bit left in the tank and Holloway was actually just really dangerous. These wins actually seem better in hindsight than they did when they occurred.
JDS' win over Stipe has also improved. Stipe was genuinely not impressive before this fight winning lackluster decisions over Gonzaga and Roy Nelson and getting KTFO by journeyman Struve. When Stipe took JDS to the absolute limit, it looked like JDS had just fallen off a cliff whereas in reality, Stipe had greatly improved. It's actually impressive that JDS was able to survive this fight at all in hindsight considering his chin was completely gone after the Cain beatdowns so it was a hard fought win over a rising star.
Will also add an obvious one: Cruz's win over Mighty Mouse has aged extremely well. Demetrius' win over Miguel Torres was a complete robbery IMO and he felt like a pretty phony contender against Cruz. Considering Johnson's next fight was probably the one he was tested in the most at FLW, he certainly didn't feel like he'd grow to be a top 10 all time fighter. This win went from being a routine title defense to EASILY being Cruz's best win.
Gunnar Nelson had such a high potential , very sad that he didn’t continue.Gunnar Nelson too.

How did that win age well?
A one-dimensional striker with bad cardio and zero ground game coming off a 2 year layoff still survives into the 4th round against a guy hyped as the best MMA grappler of all time? This is easily a contender for most overrated win of all time and is the exact definition of NOT aging well. Hell, Conor's entire career doesn't age well FFS and Khabib's doesn't either considering this was one of his only "credible" opponents (who just happened to be tailor made for his skill-set).It aged pretty badly for a while. Glover's loss to Phil Davis right after the loss to Jones was flat-out embarrassing and it took over five years after that before Glover was more than just another guy who went downhill after Jones beat him.Jon Jones' win against Glover aged pretty well
I don’t recall that and looking at the dates I don’t see how that could be true.Crazy to think that if GSP don't tore his ACL after Shield,
he would hav faced Story and then Ellenberger (was also on a 5 fights win streak with notable wins Vs Shield & Sanchez)
These two before Carlos.
A champion who clean his division always give problem when trying to find new top contender.
