Which UFC fighters inspired you growing up?????

Frank and Ken Shamrock, the foster home situation hits home with me and my background.

Not a UFC fighter, but...

Also, more in young adulthood, so not physically growing up.

Royce

the way he handled dudes waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay bigger than him

Sean Sherk as far as training goes. The caveman(?) training he did when they used to do the All-Access episodes, those really inspired me to push myself that much harder in training.
Great choice. Sherk, GSP, Kenny Florian, and Rich Franklin where some of the first to train MMA on a scientific/professional level (proper strength and conditioning coaches, hiring nutritionist, alternative sources of recovery such as massage/yoga/acupuncture, sports psychologist)

Karo Parisyan and Joe Riggs. Though I was pretty much a late teen/early adult.

Absolutely and it's all done wonders for me except acupuncture because I've never had the opportunity to try it.

I was a teenager in high school when I first got into mma in 2011, so I technically didn’t grow up watching it, but my favorite fighter was Anderson Silva; seeing him completely outclass his opponents and effortlessly dodge their attacks was something else 🔥🔥🔥

Inspired? Like looking up to them? Nobody.

Shogun, for sure. I’d love to have seen him during the Machida days drop to MW and kill Strickland. People say the sport has evolved, but not middleweight, I guess.

Him vs Izzy prime vs prime would’ve been something too.
