Thats right....the 50th state allover again. Pearl Harbor is likely in the sights of every major potential enemy we have right now do you agree?

Literally we are a gas station in the middle of the ocean along with strategic mobilization purposes, the Japanese almost beat us and may have had better results if it actually took Pearl Harbor out on Dec 7, 1941.

I live out here and I think this is a very soft target. Everyone has an irrational fear....mine is waking up one morning to an invasion. I think most of the general population is unaware or unprepared for a 2nd pearl harbor attack but I tend to think its a real possibility. What enemy of ours wouldn't love to take this island and use it for their own staging purposes?

I live on the BI and remember the fake atomic missile warning. About a month the event I had a "CEO Only" brief from the civil defense officials discussing a possible attack. This was when North Korea had been testing missiles. This civil defense briefing stated that Honolulu and pear harbor would be their likely target.

Fast forward to the actual even, I was in Honolulu for the weekend and was walking on the street downtown when I received the text message on my phone.

I'd assume in the case of invasion it would either be through Alaska where the forces would have to fight US and Canada simultaneously.

They could come from the South through Mexico but that would be pretty complicated I imagine. They are an ally but not a military ally.

Texas and Louisiana. A few dozen cruise missiles can easily take out all the oil refineries, oil & gas terminals, pipeline hubs, and the strategic petroleum reserve. That's almost half of America's oil refining capacity gone, and with the import terminals & pipeline hubs blown up as well the remaining ports in the US won't be able to import nearly enough gasoline & diesel to make up the shortage.

The economic damage would be devastating since these are major pieces of infrastructure which would take years to replace. In the meantime, you're gonna have some serious fuel rationing and gasoline will probably cost a good $20/gallon or more if you can get it, same with diesel and heating oil. The cost of all your food & goods will go up hugely as well since they all depend on fuel to move it around, you think inflation & cost of living is bad now? Wait'll eggs cost $50/dozen, or a loaf of bread is like $15. You can kiss your 1st world standard of living goodbye.

Wreck the energy system and the economy & industry will go down with it. You'll have a depression that makes the Great Depression look like a picnic, America will have its hands full dealing with the shit show at home and it won't be doing much if anything on the world stage until it can get everything up & running again.
