There's many instances of child porn on youtube, facebook, twitter, instagram, etc. That's sort of the nature of these websites that allow anyone to post anything. I don't think it's fair to only target pornhub for it.

They completely ignored the requests of underaged rape victims to remove the videos. It was left up forever.

I'm pretty sure youtube doesn't monetize child pornography and rape videos.

I don't think they did. I've never seen child porn on pornhub, yet alone advertised or sold by them. And there were strict rules against it I'm sure.

But just by the nature that anyone can post a video and maybe some of those videos would be revenge porn was the big issue with them. But not like they knew which was revenge porn and which wasn't. They eventually culled a lot of their content which couldn't have been an easy decision for them.

If you run a porn website and had little to no screening process for what was uploaded, you know for a fact folks are going to upload CP and shit that comes from sex trafficking. Which is why you should never run a porn website that doesn’t screen what is uploaded. But pornhub did, because it cheaper for them to do business that way, at the expense of kids getting raped.

You have to provide ID and becomes registered model to be uploaded or be a member of a production company that is following those guidelines.

They pretty much sucked at screening content uploaded to their site by unverified users so they just completely nuked that option so now only verified users can upload videos
I've never came across the stuff myself but I am not shocked it existed on that site
