Economy Which of you Guys Burned down the Pornhub Owners house

That's sort of the nature of these websites that allow anyone to post anything.

This is true for all sites that allow user uploaded content. Porn sites are just far more susceptible since, unlike YouTube, for example, the fact that the upload contains shots of genitals and penetration will not immediately rule it a violation of terms.

Assuming not merely an accident or personal, what a weird mix of suspects by ideology that could be responsible

Perhaps a feminist against the objectification of women
Maybe an incel frustrated at the hoes it puts on a pedestal
We just had a Christian target sexual “temptations”
Could be Islamic based on similar anti porn sentiments
Qanon far rightie going after him for the child video accusations?
LGBT not happy with the amount of gayness other than hot lesbianis promoted?

Yeah right. There has always been pornography. Limited by technology of course but even if it was a big titty figurine one of your ancestors fapped to thousands of years ago.
The difference in content, accessibility and pervasiveness is obviously light years apart though. Regardless of wether or not the little figurines qualify as porn, you really can't argue that it's exactly the same in any case.

I'm pretty sure a woman found her missing underage daughter on a pornhub channel. Was the content they culled of questionable origin?
There were about 50 videos of a minor getting raped, yes it's how she found her daughter. Imagine having to browse all the sick shit that is on pornhub and then seeing your daughter's rape being jerked off to by thousands and thousands of man, leaving disgusting comments.

The "verified" solution is not a solution either, since there have been CP videos uploaded by "verified" users @CubicleGangster

But they handed out free masks or whatever so they are very, very cool and ethical!

You sure? I can't find anything that verifies that
Basically only their models and partners can upload content on their site

They're getting sued for hosting child pornography and they have a history of ignoring the desperate please of minors that have been trafficked/raped and were on Pornhub for months if not years.

But I'm sure since you've never seen CP (that you know of) it's all good. I'm sure.
Isn't that why they purged the site of all nonvarified videos and channels? I heard something about most credit card companies were going to cut them off over the CP, so that's why they finally decided to crack down.

Yeah those are all horrible but as far as I can tell they all occurred before the big PH purge as the purge was a response to all that stuff in the tweet
Does it matter that much? Nobody's been held accountable. Did they give the money they made from child pornography back?

Like I said above, a 15 year old girl was verified. It's not meaningful. There's a lot of moral leeway given to a company that made money from child pornography.

Shit bud calm down all I did was comment on you trying to correct me about the verified user thing since your timeline was a bit off

They changed it so normal members can no longer be verified and only models/partners would be considered verified. This was due to the piss poor job they were doing at screening content posted by verified members and nonverified members.

The change was recent, as it happened back in December.

I'm not trying to be hostile, don't take it personally. I just get worked up when these people get away with everything, all they have to do is some PR moves and they're fine.

I doubt the verified system is waterproof either, since it wasn't in the past. Maybe they're a bit more vigilant now, but they sure didn't give a fuck when they weren't being threatened with lawsuits.

Think the issues they'll run into will be GDP related. A company that produces lots of videos where some of them are not on the up and up (or a whole lot of them). I also don't hold PH as accountable as you do as I think they are more guilty of just being lazy and uncaring as opposed to actually encouraging the content. Twitter has the same issue too.

EDIT: GDP as in Girls Do Porn not Gross Domestic Product, lol

Maybe but in my worldview, if that guy had gotten stuck in his burning house, I don't think it would've made the world a worse place.

I also don't think it would change a thing. There's plenty of people working there who would replace him.

I'm sure I'll be called naive and it's probably warranted, but I would have never guessed that pornohub would ever have allowed CP. I'm maybe even more shocked that anyone would upload anything on there-- that's the most popular site, right? So if you're putting up fucking CP how can you think they're not going to bust down your fucking door? Are they relying on the courts and an absence of evidence? Are they making so much money that it's worth it? What the fuck is wrong with people, and I'm not even asking in a moral frame, I mean why would you take that kind of risk?
