Indiana Jones, I just love the sound and the beat. Legendary for me.

Jaws and Jurassic Park are about tied for a close second.

To me its Empire. So many emotional twists and turns, building to a crescendo before stabbing you in the guts as the Imperial Death March comes pounding in.

I feel like Metallica was inspired by the way Empire ends and they tried to go as epic as metal can go with the end of Call of Ktulu

John Williams: You need a better composer than me for this project. (Schindler's list)

Steven Spielberg. Yes, but they are all dead.

I like Indiana Jones, but Superman would #1 if it was an option. This guy did the music for a lot of films. Very impressive.

Jaws
A New Hope
E.T.

E.T's is a beautiful score that should definitely be up there.

I like Gustav Holst's... I mean John Williams' work on Star Wars.

Jaws is the most iconic, the most memorable, the most visceral, and probably had the greatest impact as a complement to what was going on in the movie, but it's definitely not my favorite to listen to.

My favorite is The Empire Strikes Back. The theme defines the sense of magic in movies for me. I hear it, and everything that I've loved about movies over the decades floods over me. The sense of possibility and imagination. All the good memories about what movies can be. It's really special.

And damn, it was just so easy to take for granted how incredible the music was in The Phantom Menace because of how badly Lucas bungled so much else in that movie.

Oh, this is right up my alley. I hum all of these themes. Everyday, I'm humming one of his masterpieces.

E.t. gets the nod from me.
