Which new IPhone are you going for?

I kinda get it but i kinda dont....

It's something I've always thought about flagship phone owners... (I have nothingphone [2])

You get an Iphone 17 air, to get the thinnest phone on the market, only to bulk it out with a case anyway? I feel so much of these flagship phones are features based on its design, many of which are lost (like slimness) with sizable cases.
I get what you're saying, but maybe you're thinking a bit too much in absolutes. Just because the case makes a phone thicker and heavier doesn't mean the thinner phone still won't be thinner and lighter after you put a case on. I'm sure people who strongly prefer that also gravitate towards cases that sacrifice some protection or utility to be sleeker and lighter, too.

I just wait until my battery won’t last 1 day which is a long time. I use my phone for txt check emails check sherdog and iHeart radio casts. I’m on 13 yet and it’s totally fine.

I always get the largest and most powerful iPhone whenever its time for a change.

I use my phone a ton, for calls, text messages, work email, personal email, browsing, fantasy sports, car play, etc. I think it would be crazy to not spend a few hundred extra bucks for the top of the line iPhone.

I am also looking forward to usb-c despite the fact I probably have 5+ lightning cables.

Just got a new iPad with USB-C.

When I get my new phone in a couple of months, I can finally dump all of my lightning cables.

Really looking forward to it.

I think I have an ipad and a smart mouse that both use lightning to charge. I won't be dumping all of mine for a while I guess. My 13 pro-max is also still going strong, so I might be a few years before I move on from lightning.

Which only matters if you put it in a clear case. Because everyone puts their phone in a case these days, especially phones that cost $1000.
I only buy clear cases because of this.

Phones got delivered yesterday.

My Air has the same screen I needed and more storage than the phone I had from my phone from 6 years ago so cool. It's STICK THIN. But the most importand bit I went for a whacky cool case.

Husband's Pro, he's absolutely in love with. He does a lot with his phone with work so cool I guess.

Battery life ridiculous, mine was really starting to screw and I ran out of storage to do updates so time to go.

I don't like Apple's controlling shenanigans they are the ferrari of the phone world.

You'd need to pay me to use an Iphone. iOs is horrible.
iOs > android hands down

it's more reliable, more efficient, better integration, easier to use, and more universal

So what problems are Apple creating these days... that they'll sell you the solution for?

Got 7a here
I have the 8 which I'll probably keep until the 11 comes out.. then I'll buy a 10 pro at half price.

I might go for the 10 soon

Apple and universal in one sentence is rich.
It's the best OS in the world if it fits you, otherwise it is horrible.

I dunno, last time I had issues with Android was v.2.3 on my old ass HTC phone. I lost some data updating. It was 2012.
