Movies Which movies do you think would have been better with different actors in the leads?

Take out Keanu and Winona from Coppola's Dracula.

Damn i was focused on how much Dracula was shit, but yes

Is incredible how it's one of my fav movies but i dislike haf cast lol

Viggo Mortensen instead Gary Oldman in Bram Stoker's Dracula

I know Oldman as old-Dracula was great performance but was super shit as young one, zero danger/intimidation vibes compared to book rejuvenated Drac lol

Mortensen we seen in The Prophecy would have crushed that crap so hard

Lol why are you thinking of the best actor in the entire movie instead of the obviously shitty Keanu performance?

Because Bram Stoker's Dracula was about... Dracula

So if Dracula is shit (and as much i like Oldman, his young Dracula was pure shit) movie is damaged much more because what's supposed to be a one-man-show lacks the man lol

Jonathan have lot of narrative spotlight but show can still afford him to suck, if Dracula carry everybody

Oldman's Dracula manage to be creepy and memorable in early old-version phase, then completely fail... too bad rejuvenated Dracula was supposed to be core of the story, the real iconic character

That's a classic Oldman performance, it's one of his best known roles. Keanu on the other hand sticks out for being dogshit.

does'nt feels at all like books sharp and menacing Dracula

I'm not even saying Oldman performance was bad (he's ever as good he can be), i'm saying he was wrong person to play it, and costume/hair people did'nt helped him much either lol

I'm not even fan of Lee's exagerated almost comical acting with lot of rabid dog faces, but damn when he did'nt tried hard "monster faces" he had the look

Make Venom in Spider Man 3 truer to the comic book version instead of Eric Foreman. Eddie Brock was a big strong blonde hothead, but they tried to make Venom just an evil Peter Parker by having another scrawny nerdy guy (much like Peter) play him. I kow it'd be difficult finding an actor that fits and Venom was just one of several problems the movie had but it'd help.

They did too much with Spider Man 3 as a whole. They had 3 different plots in one movie. Didn't mind whomever played Sandman but yes, the Eddie Brock character was terrible.

A lot of Arnold's late 90s and 2000s movies could have been bigger and better with a more "it" actor at the time. Imagine End of Days with Denzel, a tuned in Nic Cage, or Russell Crowe.
