Which horror movie antagonist is most frightening

Not a horror movie but scary guy.

Tough call.

They all have their fright factor in their own respective right

Having a brain fart
Whats this from?
Pet Semetary

Oddly she was only a side character that didn't really add too much to the plot but definitely did give some depth to her sister (The wife of the protagonist). She creeped me out like no other. I heard she was in the book to a greater extent, thus being more terrifying. You can't help but feel repulsed, scared and yet saddened and empathetic toward her

At the end of the day....kill it with fire!!!

Freddy because you have to sleep sometime.

Cenobites are straight up from hell and ludicrously difficult to combat.

I love michael myers but he is at least human with super powers; he is easier than the above technically.

That ship/area from event horizon... Fuck yo life.

This blood sucking freak scared the ever living piss outta me as a child. Fuck that guy.

Cujo creeped me the frig out as a kid more than anything else. It's always the stuff that seems like it could actually happen is what scared me the most.

Great call. Tooms was some haunting shit for me back when I was a kid. The inbred hicks from Home as well

Yeah of all the horror films I watched as a youngster, nothing freaked me out quite like Tooms. The inbreds are also a good call.

Had they kept him in the shadows it could've worked great, once they showed the creeper and him acting odd it really killed the scare factor.
That's how I saw it too.
I think they're making a 3rd.
I thought they were going to go down the wrong turn route and spam a bunch of sequels with a completely different tone from the first. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this, not quite a horror film but said to have creeped Stephen King out.

So many good ones. The Tall Man from Phantasm. Henry Kane from Poltergeist 2. Pennywise. Leatherface. Jason, Freddy, Hills have eyes, Pumpkinhead, Michael Meyers, Candyman....

But what creeped me out the most was a movie called Communion starring Christopher Walken. Made in 1989, it was about Alien Abduction. I was having sleep paralysis at the time, and the idea that an Alien could just touch your head and make you forget was scary. Every time I opened my eyes I expected to see a grey starring at me.

Oh yeah, forgot about the cenobites. They are scary as hell too although some of them are silly looking. Chaining people and tearing them apart brought me nightmares back in the days.
