Food & Drink Which food with no consequence??!!

Don't you work out though? So you 'earn' your sugar and carbs. Most people are sedentary so their body doesn't need the extra energy they're cramming into it
I am heavier (fatter) than I was the same time last year and the biggest difference last year was that I was vegan. But also in general I ate healthier meals but I don't think my overall sugar intake is different. I also ate a lot more in general because the vegan diet made me hungry all the time. I drank and still drink soda, I snacked more on sweets last year, and I drank beer more often than now (quit drinking), and my activity was about the same as now. I am now about 10lbs heavier and eat a lot more meat while eating less veggies.

I don't think it's the vegan diet per se, but rather the fact that I was eating more veggies because I wasn't getting those calories I would get from meat. I'm thinking I should go back to that and reduce my meat consumption.

I'd be curious to know your body composition of lean mass to bodyfat on and off the vegan diet. Are there any good vegan athletes besides the Diaz brothers? I guess they're proof that some people can perform at a high level on it. I don't think I could but more power if it works for you.

The rice thing is almost certainly incorrect. Asians walk a lot and have smaller portions to begin with. When Americans eat rice, it's a mound of it on a plate. Asians also tend to store their fat viscerally, when they gain weight their aesthetics suffer less but they're at higher risk of disease from a high BMI. Like the rates of diabetes in China are out of control, even though almost none of them are fat fat (but certainly skinny fat.)

Everything has a consequence at a certain point. Broccoli has cyanide and eggplant has nicotine, but you have eat a literal truckload of them to get any effects.

People worry a lot about sugar so much they get wary of fruits, but I eat it a lot and it doesn't affect my weight gain.
Crap I eat a ton of broccoli. Never know about the cyanide thing.

I buy the giant bag of broccoli at Costco and sit on the couch and snack on it because otherwise I'd be reaching for chips.

Which is the answer to this question, btw. Chips. Cool ranch Doritos, sour cream and onion, doesn't matter. That shit is like crack. I wish that didn't have consequences..

Big greasy piazza pie, I would live on the ninja turtle diet if it wouldn't turn me into a giant greasy fat fuck with nonstop heartburn. But I'm sure it would.

While I was vegan I was lean and looked decently ripped. It was harder to gain strength though for sure.
I'm not vegan anymore. I'm not a high performing athlete so I don't have worry about that part. I just found eating very little meat works better for me than a lot of meat or no meat at all.

I eat everything. I am not even a little fat. At almost 46 years old.

You all need to move more. Then you can eat whatever.

SLC30A8 gene mutation. My whole family has it. No matter their size or what they eat diabetes is never a concern. And if you saw the morbidly obese land whales in my family you'd think they all had a touch of the 'beetus.

So while heart disease, weight, and literally everything is still in play, but because they can't diabetes they eat like they can't get diabetes.

MCDONALDS, ESPECIALLY THE NEWLY OUT MCDONALD'S BIG ARCH IS A BIG THREAD TO YOUR BODY BUT ITS DELICIOUS, HOPEFULLY IT WILL COME OUT IN THE USA SO YOU CAN TRY IT.

Chocolate. Specifically dark and with almonds. Not the worst thing, but I would eat it all day, every day, if I could without becoming fat.

The Diaz bros aren't vegan, they are pescatarian (or were, Nick is a meat eater now).

I mean if you could just crush pizza all day and it be healthy that would be amazing

I eat 80-95% dark chocolate, with a couple handfuls of almonds and a couple glasses of milk every day. The chocolate only has about 1-3g of sugar if you don't eat a ton of it. Kind of a semi healthy way to snack. The milk fulfills the sweet tooth portion of it and dark chocolate and almonds go perfect together.

IF I don’t eat a ton of it, which I want to, and would, if my answer came true…

Definitely not a horrible combo in the grand scheme of things. I just want to be a glutton on it and not have to worry. Love semi-sweet chocolate and certain bitter nuts. Or with raspberry. Just a sucker for those combos.
