Which fighters have you found yourself emotionally invested in????

Poirier, followed him since he was fighting on regional cards, not so much after he got wealthy.
Korean zombie.
Max.

Rest would be canadian fighters I've spent time with.

Don’t know if this counts, but seeing Jake Paul beat Mike Tyson wounded me.

Pretty much every fighter making the move from Pride to the UFC. I had this memory of their fights being amazing and legendary and wanted that to continue in a different organization. Couple guys from near my hometown have made it to the big leagues and I really hoped they'd be more successful.

It was TJ at some point. I am not a huge fan of any fighter now. Just enjoy watching Topuria, Aspinall and Chimaev.

Wonderboy, Tony Ferguson, Petr Yan and Weili. I root for many fighters but I'm extra invested in these 4. My soul hurts when they lose.

Had to let go of Tony. It hurt too much.

Dana White is the only answer for everyone on this forum.

I think I might partially be a sociopath because I never feel any real emotions when fighters that I like lose. It's just like "welp that sucks hope they can get a win next time"
Get out of here! Of what use is that to us on this forum!!!!! Lol

I think Charles is the one fighter I've gotten emotionally invested in over the years more than any other. I was over the moon when he won the title.

GSP. He had the best story arc of any fighter for me. Young innocent smashing his way to get arm barred by Hughes. Then on his way back up, and that TUF where Hughes was giving him sht for the arm bar, and Serra just turned to GSP and said 'I hope you beat that guy', as GSP just took it all in. To then beat Hughes in the eventual rematch and then to win by arm bar in the next total domination. It was hard not to root for GSP after all that. Like when he out-wrestled koshcheck and beat mr consipiracy shields.

I don't really get invested emotionally because I used to gamble on MMA before it got popular. I used to bet against fighters that I like to watch all the time. I will admit that I feel bad if they took a really bad beating. If I had to choose one then it is probably Shogun. He took a ton of damage in his career.

Nowadays it is fun to randomly hate on a fighter because they wear turtlenecks or use a non iphone.

I used to be invested in Chandler before he started fighting dirty and begging McGregor for a big payday every other week.
